I rented it and beat it over 2 days.. I think I was like 8 or 9 at the time and it was the first time I played a game through night and day to beat it.

I was four years old when I got this on release year for Christmas. I remember opening it, plugging it in, and playing Super Mario World with my brother for hours.
It was such a great console... Super Metroid, Unicycles, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, the original Bubsy, Super Mario RPG, Pilotwings, Mario Kart, and so many other games that I played to death. There was a little store near my house called the Game Exchange that had playable consoles in the back and rent/buy'ing of games in the front and we'd go there and check out the new titles, talk to the owner, and just have great times.
