Sorry, I blank out when the talk of sports come up ... I thought I wandered into some sport blog ... unless you were playing a hockey or Frolf video game, then sorry for your loss.

I see what you did there ... you are saying what EVERYONE on the internet says about RTS games being released on a console ... at first I was all like ... wow, he is right RTS games are teh phailz on teh consolez because of that there joystick pad ... but, then I was like oh wait, haven't I heard and read that like a MILLION times already ... so yeah, he wasn't saying anything original or clever at all.

hmmm ... "RTS + controller = phail -.-.." = FAIL!

Seeing as the game has been made from the ground up to be played with an Xbox 360 controller and hasn't even come out yet, maybe you should "wait, see and try for yourself" before you throw out another negative worn out gamer cliché. Could you do that? Thanks.

My thoughts are kind of the same as other ... this is how the XBLA Battlestar Galactica game should have been. =/

Unwarranted? Well yeah, to a point. When that new "evolved word" has passed through a generation or two and then when it has been embraced and put into everyday vernacular by a society; then sure you can have your new evolved word and run with it.

I'm guessing you are not a linguist or on some Future Evolved Word Preservation Society (or FEWPS as the members like to call it). If you are please tell me that in this future where your ideologies on current hurtful and bigoted words will be used in new ways, that people are at least a lot more tolerant, kind and respectful? If so, that is at least something that we can all look forward to.

While I really like Will Smith, I always wince when I hear that Peter Berg is directing another movie. It will take a long time and a lot more films under his belt to ever get the bad taste of what I consider one of the worst films I have sever seen; Very Bad Things" out of my mouth.

Same! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ang Lee's HULK. Just watched it again a few weeks ago. Had to show the fiance what a dramatic comic book film can be. And I am also excited about this new one. I am just so tired of the bashing HULK gets, its to slow of a band wagon for all to jump on, come up with something original to say.

yeah, there is a reason why I "follow" your comments. ^_^ ~ while I liked the first Matrix, I wasnt rabid nuts crazy for it like most were. When I saw Reloaded, I got it and it made the first one even better to me. So I am right there with you on this!

OMG! We get it.

I saw this with a group of friends opening weekend and as a fan of unique opening titles; realized about 30 minutes in, that we never saw the title at the beginning of the movie. Not sure if maybe I just missed it, I leaned over to my friend David and asked "did they show the title of the movie;" he paused and said "I don't think so." We laughed and continued watching. Then the end comes and BOOOM - SUPERNOVA. We both "ahhhed" then giggled at how it made sense and was also so absurd.*

God! I actually love this movie and I am not ashamed to admit. I have a real weak spot for "bad" scifi (yes, you can blame me for helping in the ratings of the bad original SciFi tv movies). But this is like Grade-A bad scifi. It had a crazy production, a great cast (mmm James Spader … mmmm Angela Bassett), some quotable dialogue, pretty awesome special fx and cgi and was pretty out there (aside from the often mentioned Event Horizon) with an original idea and story. So glad I have this on DVD, just might need to break it out and watch it again this weekend!

*speaking of odd choices of when to show the movie title; does anyone know why The Mummy Returns title is shown at the end of the movie? Like Supernova kind of makes sense ... cause the last thing IS the Supernova, but I never understood why the choice of showing "The Mummy Returns" at the end was made. If we go with Supernova logic, then technically "The Mummy Returns" should have been right there at the beginning of the flick when ... the Mummy did indeed return. But at the end (spoiler?) the Mummy was defeated and was not going to be "returning" ... well not THAT mummy. Any thoughts? ^_^
