Did anybody else play the Dante's Inferno demo, and having played it, feel an intense desire to play the Bayonetta demo as a sort of ritual cleansing immediately afterwards? The Things that were going on in Dante's Inferno just boggle the mind. I really want to know what the target audience for that game is. It was the most gruesome car wreck that you could not turn away from.
@SuperSonik: I played a little bit of this one to check it out, and as somebody who has played the SNES one 3 times through I was very dissapointed. Having never played the original though, I think you'll enjoy the game a lot. One of my favorite Final Fantasy stories, with some really great characters and a setting that is way cooler than the stuff they have been putting out the last couple of years. IMO FF VI and VII were the last great games in the series. I'll probably be giving XIII a try, but am a bit wary. The last one I played was X-2 and that was a grotesque abomination.
@gurfinki: haha, your logic is well appreciated. I was only joking of course. I don't even own a wii!
@Jack McCauley: try it out, it is a much different game. I enjoyed ground war for a long time but after playing a lot of HC-TDM it seems like a giant clusterfuck. People are just running around willy-nilly spraying bullets all over the place. Also, I don't think the levelling is that much slower. You get twice as many points for kills and the match bonuses seem bigger. For me the biggest thing is how the pace of the game is changed. You have to be careful about how you move and where you're exposed. Also, because there are no kill cams, communication becomes really important as you and your team try and figure out enemy positions.
@Jack McCauley: Three words: Hardcore Team Deathmatch. Stop playing in the minor leagues.
