Trying to read your comment through the storm and all i read was "so it's a portable device that barely lasts long enough for a one-way trip from sarcasm"

This really is quire interesting.

I would pay so so much for a model or statue of that glorious beast of a machine.
Magneto just pranked the shit out of Olive Oyl.
I don't know why but I'm interpreting that yellow thing as a tractor made of custard....
Nah, I don't think "someone gets shot" works as a spoiler.
(i just want peach to be that someone)
I didn't get into further detail to specifically avoid that.
Can't wait for the scene where Peach gets her brains blown out.

He let it happen, after years of being lead on...

I always just assumed he was giving her head.
580, because at least it'll be one vote.

I just prefer Nvidia.
Primarily the drivers/software.

Hardware wise, they're pretty identical.

That is brilliant.
I completely forgot I even had one of those....
Hollywood!
Where everything Old is NEW again because money.
His first games consisted mainly of the entire Twisted Metal franchise.
He's never done "small" or "indie" things before.

Also, given how he's been acting lately. He really seems to want to have that distilled core experience of pure gameplay and nothing more. Which to him has come to mean the opposite of what he's been doing all his life.

Probably sees all these indie devs doing cool little things they love and wants to try it on for size. Who knows, Jaffe could end up as the next big indie dev or something. That could be neat.

The Victorian Era may have been all about showing off those scandalous ankles but Skyrim is all about them knees.

You naughty girl.

I agree.
I'm not saying we shouldn't work towards better tech but this obsession with "realism" really irks me as I just don't see it adding anything. We've said this about every damn tech demo I can think of and we have nothing to show for it.
The most Realistic Bald Space Marines you ever done seen!
I really just felt like I was watching the most epic unveiling of an average looking friend. Also it doesn't help that I find Deisgn is far more important than Realism.

Killzone 3 looked leaps and bounds more awesome than something like L.A. Noire did. (not to discount how good either games are)

No amount of technology can make as much impact as a well designed piece of art. Of which I'm going to cite the WipEout series for it's striking and unique designs, and The Elder Scrolls as my reference point for how to do it right, graphical technology be damned.

In the case of Oblivion, the characters looked pretty terrible and really the main difference between them and Skyrim's characters was simply Art Direction. They still aren't quite what they could be but they're far better proof of good Art Direction rather than Graphical Technology.

Oh man, that movie sucked so bad.
That chick is actually using that for Photoshop in a crappy low-budget movie I can't remember much about.
Clever edit, though.
I think I need a tutorial to understand her setup...
