I know this is irrelevant to most of you, but only those who can truly relate in my jubilation will truly be able to appreciate what I'm about to say.

I beat Dark Souls!

This deserves a reiteration:

I beat Dark Souls!

While it took me longer than I'd like to admit, finishing off this game took a huge weight off my shoulders. I was obsessing over it, reading wikis and faqs, sometimes even while at work. Whether it be trying to farm darkmoon covenant status (If I killed you and you're mad, I'm sorry), or farming stats to test out new sorceries), I was constantly plotting my goals for what I was going to do in my next gaming session ahead of time.

This game really messed with me, pulled me out of my world and into its own, and now a veil of fog (pun intended) has been lifted. I have so many games I have to play through now, but this one can finally exit my xbox (for now).
GO GO BURNING RANGERS!!!!
Well, this is probably the only band on Rock Band that I would say that if you buy one song, you've bought the whole pack. You should investigate "This is how you remind me of someday". It's two of their songs played in opposing speakers. It's hilarious.

anyone in New Jersey get it yet? If so, where? #callofdutymodernwarfare2
I think it's really specific servers, or they fixed the problem. I hopped onto both of my servers at about 10est without a queue or lag in sight.
@Rictor: just get the memory card importer and you're set. i downloaded my cards to my ps3 for the games I have and make virtual cards for new ones
@galewind: er, when I say HD, I mean at least on my TV and not looking like total ass
the subtle irony is that I prefer to play non-exclusive titles on my 360 over my PS3, and I utilize my PS3 for playing PS2 and PSX games in HD. Don't get me wrong, I play SOME PS3 games on PS3, but it's rare that I go out of my way to do so.
I believe that Michael Vick has served time to be released to society, but I believe that our professional sports associations need to be held to higher standards as to who they let play. We're looking at people who should be held as role models to kids, and cocky attitudes from some players and crimes from others do not allow for them to be role models. It should never be about "just let him play". The millions in contracts should be not just about performance on the field, but for representing a model character off the field. I think that's what we're missing from sports nowadays, and it's really sad. It's all about money and performance, and not character.
I've been playing DQIV on the DS lately and I have to say that it does seem formulaic, as written above. Grind your way to get the better armor and weapons, then trigger event in said town, and move on. It's actually a pretty decent game from what I've played (I'm not sick of the formula, so they must be doing it right).
@SpishackCola posts comments Like A Boss: it runs SURPRISINGLY well. I'm very impressed with the load-time.

The character lag in groups is still a bit off, though.

@qhue: Well if you want to play it in some Asian language with Asian gameplay caveats, then you can play now. If you'd like to wait until it's localized and bridges the "western" gap a little more, then September it is.
I would be much happier with mine were I able to receive / send MMS messages. COME ON 3.0!!!
I'll tell you that from what I played at ComicCon, it WAS a lot like baldur's gate in the gameplay. There were only a few cinematics in my 15 minutes of play, and it was mostly a dungeon crawl (probably just to acclimate to the gameplay), but a beautiful one at that. I will say that, for me, this game is a must-buy. The gameplay felt great and the graphics were gorgeous.
ever see the movie Toys? Yeah...
@BassForever: No, the big "negative" is that out of those 50-60 songs, I may only really WANT 15 of those. I'll WANT ALL the 30 Rock Band DLC songs OR ELSE I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THEM.
What I would find very humorous is that, in order to avoid potential fines, Utah retailers just stopped carrying M-rated games altogether. I can just imagine the complaints that their reps would get. In my own little mind, things would come to a head and the government will reverse the decision. None of that will happen, though.
