@milkmonkey:

Actually they're trademarks and there's a lot people can do to stop you.

@King of Fun UK:

Composite cables have always come with premium 360's. Mine's a launch one and it's got em.

@Shiryu:

Im sorry, but he's right. Whatever your feelings about a corporation. Spelling their name with dollar signs does not make you cool.

You guys are so hypocritical. Retail stores do it all the time. Hell, most online retailers do it too. When something is underperforming they pull it off. Why should it be any different for XBL? I don't hear half of you whinge as much as you do when EB/Gamestop or whatever refuses to stock your favourite.
@LittleBigPlaneteer:

Wait, are you trying to destroy all modern principles of microeconomics with your "logic"?

People will pay for what they see value in. That's not you obviously. But for the fair majority of these comments, they seem to agree that its valued as much. Now you can hold whatever notion of value you want. But when you start calling others silly because you obviously don't want to spend that much, then you come off as just arrogant.

I played the game, its good, I bought it and enjoyed it. I also bought many a full priced game to be even more disappointed, and that's after paying over double the price.

I played it, lost, deleted the registry key hoping winning would bring some sense of self-fulfillment - oh how wrong I was.

I'm disappointed how so many can be impressed by such a game that conveys such a generic moral message.

I completely agree with this guy. We should get rid of all pop culture. Music, movies, TV, games and even fast food! They're the root of all evil!!!
The game is pretty much dead anyway. The community on the PC is abysmal. Servers are unmistaking empty. The highly lamented dev community which has got everyone so excited on the ps3 is nothing special on the PC and that's all but withering away too.

The game is dying. Let it die in peace.

@Witzbold:

Way to get fired up over something you don't even know is true or not. Basically this is just speculation. Cursing MS and saying they are refusing to change is just crap, because you really don't know the full situation. It could be just this game was not selected, or they chose to omit certain arcade elements.

It seems you've just used this entire story's comments to push a very anti-Microsoft sentiment. That would be fine if it was actually based on truths. But when you start using half-truths and speculation your arguments will never hold much ground.

@tei:

Over your dozen or so comments you've lost all credibility. Quit while you're in the race.

@ErskinPig:

Sarcasm is easy. You, however haven't seemed to grasp how to use it yet. Don't worry, one day you'll get it.

In the meantime, how about sticking to the age old mantra that if you don't like it, don't buy it? And especially don't complain about someone else being able to buy it.

@ErskinPig:

Wow a condescending response to someone who rightfully tore apart your logic in front of everyone. I'm sure everyone is now amazed by your superior intellect and reasoning skills - That was sarcasm and I enjoyed it.

DLC is perfectly fine. If they spent 2 weeks making and testing the patches, then there's sure as hell some value added in that process. If you honestly believe that just because you bought a previous item you deserve all subsequent releases for free you really need to wake up yourself.

From an aesthetic perspective it looks pretty ordinary. Especially the navigation, bad colour scheme and hideous drop shadows. I was hoping for something more cleaner as well.
You not only get a HDDVD drive, but also a portable external drive that you can use on any PC. Not to mention have access to a pretty large (now budget priced) HD-DVD movie selection.

I'll be grabbing one up for $50.

I've always been waiting for a game with hi-res women's handbags!
Am i the only one who actually likes the old 2d snake over all this 3d glowing crap?
@PirateThom:

Yep its the exact same game the furniture was playing in Soylent Green before the guy is murdered. I knew it looked familiar.

Soylent Green (great movie) was 1973 and was based several decades in the future so it's fitting that the girl was playing a 'futuristic' game.

I just started to learn the guitar a few months back, got myself a decent Takamine and it sounds great. They're fairly cheap and they sound great.
You guys have to understand its just a generational gap. These people aren't the same one who grew up playing games with the same level of sophistication as we have.

Give it 10-15 years more, and I can guarantee the views shared on this board will become more mainstream. Just hang tight.

@Kirbytheslayer: Loves NinjaBread Man!:

What the hell are you smoking? A drop of 30 FPS? That's not Vista, that's just you. Look at any of the benchmarks on sites like Hardocp and you wont see a drop of 30 FPS anywhere. 5-10% at max.
