Things like this really make me wonder about the future of collecting things. Collecting items like baseball cards, antiques, stamps, and other random stuff seem to be on the decline.
There are only 250 of these controllers being made, which would make me think it would be worth more than $50 in 20-50 years, but who would actually buy it? Some retro Xbox/Tron/wired controller junkie who has lots of extra cash lying around?

Honestly, reading all these comments, I just don't understand how hard it would be to put out another classic Tony Hawk game.

Seriously. How difficult is it to make a slightly better version of Tony Hawk 3 and call it a day? At the VERY least, make these new Hawk games "plastic board optional" so I can just trick on the couch with a controller in my hands. I like VIDEO GAME skateboarding, not REAL skateboarding.
