<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Wario Land, PixelJunk Eden Dated (For Japan)]]> Uh, Luke? They announced US and EU dates for Wario Land ages ago. It was even posted here: September 26th for Europe, and September 29th for North America.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Animal Crossing Wii At E3 Already Confirmed?]]> "Since we've yet to see any ONM subscribers excitedly spill the details from the mag"

Actually, their teaser for next month's issue has been making the rounds on the web for a few days. Heck, it might have even been posted here.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Nintendo Channel Reveals Hard Truths About Wii Play, Boom Blox, More]]> @namesRhard: Actually, I think these stats are US only. The European Channel hasn't been out long enough to get statistics yet.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Now Playing The Part Of Brian Crecente...]]> @StephenTotilo: Hmm, you know I've never seen it put that way before. I may give the game another shot over the summer.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Now Playing The Part Of Brian Crecente...]]> Hi Stephen!

Could you possibly explain why you prefer MP2 over the original? I adored the first, but I thought that the sequel lost a great amount of the "feel" of the first game. I also thought the bosses were a little less imaginative and that the whole game, particularly the dark world, was too punishing for a game that contains a great deal of backtracking and exploration, making it a chore to explore the planet's surface. I didn't like the more direct storytelling methods either, since I prefer a more subtle approach like MP1, where most of the story is told via scans. The soundtrack wasn't as good either.

Also, fuck the Boost Ball Guardian.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Europe Gets MGS Database]]> Actually Luke, the Japanese and US versions had all the translations and European credits included, so there was no translation to do.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Sorry Europe, No Metal Gear Database For You]]> Actually, it's got nothing to do with languages, since the US and Japanese version have English, Japanese, French, Spanish, German and other languages included. Also, the credits have European staff credits, so it seems finished. It's just Sony and Konami being lazy assholes.

And downloading the US version doesn't work for Europe. You need to have a finished MGS4 save that was created on your own console to access MGS4 spoilers, so it's basically useless for now.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on PAL PlayStation Store Update]]> Is Medievil any good? I was thinking of grabbing the PSone version.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on So... Will There Be Another Metal Gear Solid?]]> Personally, I think (or rather, hope) that MGS4 will be the last "Solid" game. After that, I could see them doing a different subseries, possibly with someone else as the main character.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Yes, Europe Is Multi-Lingual, Thanks Sony!]]> Well, why not do that for the US too? Why not (just a thought) make everyone wait and get it to everyone at the same time?

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Penny Arcade Game Gone Gold]]> Wait, how does a digital-only game "go gold?" It goes against the entire meaning of the damn phrase. On another note, if it's ready (as the going gold bit implies) then why no solid release date?

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Metal Gear Online Beta Now *Planned* For This Friday]]> @hypermog: Actually, you dropped a $5 deposit on MGS4. The beta/MGSaga disc is a freebie.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on The Metal Gear Online ID Clusterfuck]]> Probably the most awkward and unnecessary signup I've ever had to do. Two IDs? Why not just one? What ridiculous purpose does have two totally different IDs serve if they're both attached to the same account? And fuck, why not use the ID that everyone already has?

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Awww, New Sony Cat Action Figures]]> @crummer:

I just realized that too. The cats get new faces.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Awww, New Sony Cat Action Figures]]> Those two Revoltech figures have been out for ages (you guys posted them on here before, in fact. I have both, and they're awesome.

The bunny and the robot must be mine.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on GTAIV To Feature Artist-Specific Radio Stations [Update]]]> There's at least two stations in the previous games that had just one artist. I think GTA III had a station that was just the Scarface soundtrack, in fact.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on VC Update: Live or Die Edition]]> @Ampillion lives a life much like No More Heroes.: Actually, if JonnyDee lives in Europe, then it's an issue with the console, not his TV.

Until April 07, many games in PAL regions would not work over Component due to their 50Hz output. Since the April 11th update however, all titles are required to work over Component. Sometimes you have to hit a button combo (Z+A+2) in the Operations Manual to switch the output mode though. Many of the games released prior to the new rules have been updated too.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on NCsoft Acquires City Of Heroes, Creates New Studio]]> Hopefully, that more will happen, and faster.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on What Your Console Tells Dating Partners]]> I wouldn't care what console my girlfriend has. I wouldn't use it judge what they're like as person or even as a gamer.

Actual games though, that's a better way of judging.

Or hell, maybe getting to know the person. Just a thought.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on What Your Console Tells Dating Partners]]> Q: What does judging you based on a games console tell you about your girl?

A: That she's a shallow bitch who doesn't deserve your time.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on IPTV Not Hitting 360 With Fall Update]]> Basically, anyone who owns a 360 can have IPTV (though obviously the larger HDD is reccomended for HD recording), but your service provider must support it. Here in the Uk, that means BT for now, to check your region, you can go to www.microsoft.com/tv

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on ThreeSpeech Confirms PS3 Digital Tuner Leipzig Presence]]> I'd be excited by this news, but UK TV sucks. And when it doesn't suck, it's 6 months late.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Stranglehold on PS3 - REGION LOCKED]]> @TaylorB: I live in the UK.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Stranglehold on PS3 - REGION LOCKED]]> Region locking is why I chose HD DVD. I like buying my movies while I'm on holiday.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Xbox 360 Messenger Kit, First Review]]> It doesn't work with the PC yet because the Xbox 360 Peripheral drivers haven't been updated in months. Xbox.com, however, states that PC compatability is coming.

Hopefully they'll add Force Feedback to the newer drivers at last.

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Gears Of War PC Online Requires Live Account]]> The Silver (FREE) account has all the standard features of PC multiplayer, and single-player achievements. The Gold service adds the cross-platform play and multiplayer achievements. And it's the same service as Xbox Live, so if you have an Xbox Live account already, then you have nothing to bitch about.

And there are dedicated servers; both Halo 2 and Shadowrun included dedicated server programs.

I'm not sure why people think that Live doesn't work on XP - it does. You can go to the website and install the in-game client update now and it installs fine on XP. Hell, if you find a crack, you can play Shadowrun and Halo 2 Live on XP.

Oh, and for the person who said something about not buying any GfW games, that's your loss. I find the branding works great, I know that every GfW supports certain resolutions, supports 360 accessories and works fully with Vista, among other things.

To be honest, I think you guys just bash GfW because it's a Microsoft product, and therefore must be shoddy and just there to get our money. It's sad that you people act like this.

<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Konami Reveals Leipzig Lineup]]> "this is why i purchased my PS3"

So you can play multiformat games?

]]>
<![CDATA[Espiox commented on Sony PS3 Pricecut at Christmas?]]> Right now I kinda want the PS3 to flop, if only to teach Sony a lesson about being arrogant jerks.

Of course, if it gets a good line-up of games and a big price drop, I'll buy one.
