I am so buying htis game, because THIS IS THE KIND OF GAMES I WANT, I want fun AND pretty. More importantly, I want effort by the developer. This already craps on most of the shovelcrap we have gotten in the past year.
@Coquiton: Im guessing the fact that it was executed really well, had a ton of characters and more importantly for the world.. it came first. I dont give a crap if MVC2 is broken as hell, it sure is fun!

Seeing how suddenly, some developers are interested in cultivating a well-thought and implemented control scheme makes me really anxious in a good way. Me want look awkward while playing! Usually its an indicator that I'm... having some fun!

While I want to agree with the assertion that 'good wii games can be ported, and not in reverse' ... is that really the case, especially when most the great, must have games are great andmust have because of the wiimote functionality that nobody else can currently emulate? Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, even IF one could port over those kinds of games, they just wouldn't be the same. Wouldn't be as fun. I can't play RE4 any other way now, and wouldn't buy it anywhere else.

I sure hope this doesn't notably affect the Metroid series. I love Metroid Prime 3 <3, real controller perfection right there.

holy crap. If there was one game that would get me interested in buying a PS3 right now... it's this one. I'm serious, this is the game. I never thought Id see cell shading like that.

I compulsively save right before any big boss battle because I think that somehow my saved file is too far behind in the story for me to survive long enough with what I have to fight and beat the boss. savesavesavesave. I almost didnt beat stupid Ridley in Metroid Prime3 because I refused to fall into that place, the save point was so far behind me!
in wrestling games, I can only win if I do my finishing move first. Otherwise it just feels too... unaccomplished

In Mario Kart: DD, if I don't win first place i every single race, in every single lap, I start over completely. Failure is not an option in that game.
I have a Sega Saturn, an N64, a Dreamcast, a Gamecube and a Wii. Thought I still had my SNES and Genesis but... Im not thaaat good at packratting. But I am good! The systems I have still work =)

man I love Wack and Sticki. I remember trying forever with the first boss, how was I supposed to know you make things with water? That's just ridiculous.
While the story is ... kinda not there, just having to figure out a well-thought-out puzzle makes this a game worth owning. I still haven't done it all.
@daknight: yeah man, I wonder how much has sold roughly since it was released in Japan. Maybe it´ll pop back into the top ten next week, who knows?
