I feel sorry for the Santorum kids, because they are Santorum kids. The last thing I'd want is to be associated with Santorum. And their dad is a prick, too.
I have two of those! I bought the second one, came home, and decided to make a list of all the FC games I own so I don't start getting duplicates. I remember getting to the pyramid-type things before quitting. The guy in the video must be on a pretty high level, I don't remember that many enemies.
Change? We fear change.
The first thing I did when I started playing Skyrim was set the controls to what I was originally going to refer to as FFVII controls, but which find a closer approximation to Super Mario RPG- O (A) Accept, Triangle (X) Menu, X (B) Jump. The only thing that is different is that I kept Square as weapon sheath, though in SMRPG it'd be run (Y). I thank Bethesda from the bottom of my heart for being able to customize the controls to something I'm used to (Japanese games).

Now that I think about it, I should have made Square run. Bollocks.

Supposedly all PS3 games and 360 were going to be held to this requirement, and I don't actually know if it is true or not. Really, it should just be delegated to the OS to allow for remapping.
Same thing after playing FFVII (English, O for Accept), and then playing FFIX (English, X for Accept). At least playing it on PSP you can do a custom button config.
Installed a US CFW to my Japanese PSP. Changed the scheme thanks to hacks (ie, put it back to normal, CIRCLE is CONFIRM).
That was awesome, but it in turn reminded me of the mercenaries in Appleseed by Shirow.
I have almost no idea what the hell is happening in that clip, but I love it. The mass confusion, sudden deaths and utter chaos is more indicative of wide-scale warfare than any other game I've seen.
Crap! I can't believe I went all this time through Skyrim without once thinking that I should play as Conan. Crap, again.
Ditto for Quadra Master from IX (or whatever it was called).
My wife is super psyched to go to this bar. Looks like the weekend is planned!
Everything I said is lies! Here is the artist page and the song (ターボ最高) is available for preview!

[teppansongs.blogspot.com]

And somebody made a Miku version of the song and it is horrible!

The Japanese version had a much better soundtrack, but unfortunately my favorite song only exists on youtube as a live version that isn't very good. A loooooong time ago, one of the first trailers/previews I saw of PC used that song (the album version, which is waaaaaay different than live). I think the song was included on SLAI, the artist's page is now defunct. POO.
I remember playing AC4 at TGS before it was released, and the controls at the demo kiosk were downright laughable. They expected you to use the two joysticks for movement, the bumpers were relegated to something like jump jets or whatever, and all the weapons were on the symbol pad- every time you wanted to fire a weapon, you had to release your look stick. I don't know if they fixed it for release because I sat AC4 out (though I assume you can fix it in opts, and/or that the person who made that configuration was lined up against a wall). So I can fully understand how the AC community in Japan could make justified fun of the controller nonsense.

But Phantom Crash- ah, there was a game that, while you had to use the claw, was actually doable. The Xbox S controller is, I still think, one of the best controllers ever made. Next time I see an Xbox is Japan, I might buy it just for PC (so...never).

Seriously?? Solar Eclipse?? Now??

VoodooKing should have won.

Great, more stuff I didn't know existed but now I MUST HAVE. Too bad I'll probably not find one during my standard flea market runs. Ah well.
Awesome! Thanks! I barely remember Haunting! #talkamongstyourselves
Help! What is (one of several) games where you play as a spirit/ghost and can inhabit other people to complete the game? The name(s) escapes me. #talkamongstyourselves
