personally I think people are bitching too much. There has been one trailer so far, and from the trailer, aside from the character design it appears the classic dmc demon fighting and stuff is still there.
Then there is the narrative that sounds like there might actually be a real story there, if anyone ANYWHERE has ever played a DMC game they know that story often sits on the back burner to all the cool action scenes.
DMC has been lacking on a well thought out story since the getgo. I am a hardcore DMC fan, I love it to death but everyone has to admit the story was like a thin layer of icing on a giant cake. The cake was delicious and all but more icing would've been nice
as for the design, I honestly don't mind it, he has the white patch on the back they are going to build the story. This is supposed to be an origin story, so damn rights he's going to look different as some punk half demon kid. So people grow up, you didn't look too hot either at 16 or 17.
i'm sorry but if you have played since launch, and all expansions, considering wotlk has been out for a year how do you not have an 80? i dunno guess i am just endgame focused, but i have 4... and a full time job.. lol not much to be bragging about, but still you hear about these celebrities and stuff that play and are all like "oh yeah i have a 64 warlock" i just don't count an actual WoW player unless they have at least one level capped character, leveling is like 1/8th of the battle when playing WoW, most of the real content is at level cap #alexisraven
well it's not so much them sharing their hobbies, it's how they go about it, gaming isn't about sex so why are flaunting yourself in your websites about your gaming, it just doesn't make sense to me, there are so many gaming girls abuse the fact that men worship them just for the mere fact that share a hobby with them, when it comes to mmos from a previous study done by kotaku I think it was like 42% of players were girls, girls are not something new to the genre and arent some mystical diamond in the rough most girls rather just go about their own business due to the stupid hype they get, and often just ignore the fact we are girls unless it is somehow brought up at a later date. Women that go out there and are like 'oh btw I am girl, take a look at my site where you can see me bent over a laptop my ass in fullview of the camera" that's not a gamer that's an attention whore. if you are a gamer great, but don't sell yourself, gaming is not a fashion statement it is a hobby that we should be able to enjoy without leeches burrowing their way in just for attention. I'm all for an attractive woman but not when I am trying to form a raid and my guildmates are busy drooling over her website feebily attempting to flirt with her in vent #worldofwarcraft

I honestly don't get the big hype about this game, sure the graphics are pretty and seems like an action packed game, well reminds me alot of Devil May Cry or maybe even Chaos Legion, there just doesn't seem to be much of a story other than cool cinematic shots and over the top sexuality, I don't really know how i feel about it #bayonetta
honestly I am getting sick of women that supposedly 'play video games' then make websites that emphasize and sell their bodies just so they can make the geeky pubescent boys drool over and worship them just to feel a little bit of self worth...
We had a girl who played horde on doomhammer, she had her own website www.eringames.com she played the ditsy 'omg gais you should help me I am a silly girl that doesn't know anything..' and the guys swoop in, until another girl shows up and calls her bluff

I know the kinds of comments that I am gonna get for this "I bet you are a fat chick that doesn't like the fact that you don't get attention" which is untrue so save it
I myself preordered it, bored out of my skull from wow, I played in the closed beta 6 last week and well I had a good time! It's immersive and the environments are gorgeous and there's so many little sparks of life you catch out of the corner of your eye like hte giant flying monsters in the sky and little things like spiders crawling down trees
this game isn't new I remember maybe like 4-5 years ago a game exactly like this that was freeware that was released on a Computer Gaming World demo disk (old school I know) I can't remember what the original was called but it was exactly the same, something like swarm? I can't remember
I have to say I really hate the stigma that surrounds wow players. Yes there are some terrible, terrible TERRIBLE examples out there of people going too far but that is the same with anything.
I have been playing for about 3 years, and a large mass of my friends play, and on top of that I have made a fair number of in game friends, I am not addicted.
If i have a stressful day at work, come home sign in laugh with some friends kill some junk sign off. And it's cheaper than going to the movies every weekend.
Blizzard is making a ridiculous amount of money off this, but whatever, good for them, they have produced a good and fun game that obviously like 10 million people want to pay for monthly, so kudos.
I'm just there for the adventure and good times with friends and that's what most wow players are there for.
