Droid's is funny too, and isn't as vulgar as Necrophilia. Definitely should've been a contender.

Seriously, it seems like most of the people who put proper craftsmanship into their entries are left out, while the finalists are all the quick and dirty jobs. I'm wondering if somebody missed all the later entries, or something.

@Drake Lake: Phase Lunaire: No, yours was better than a good 80% of those finalists.
@Chesu: I stated which one they should use if that was the case.
dynamaito and Kilian also clearly deserve to be finalists.
Uh... yeah, I don't mean to call the Wahmbulance here, but who picked these finalists? Most of them are awful.

Whatever. My entries:

Tales of Zambonia
Tales of Gensokyo

Yeah... Cecil Harvey? They must have retroactively assigned him a last name.
All of God's creations are beautiful in their own--OH SHIT, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?
Whatever the reason, it's why I'm now a 360 owner. I can wait for Eternal Sonata on PS3, but waiting a year for a chance at a PS3 Tales? Hell with that.
So this is what it sounds like when creativity dies.

Seriously, look at the expression of the girl who's playing. She's like "Where's the part where I should start looking like I'm having fun?"

I absolutely loved this concert, but I'm a little disappointed in the track selection for this CD. The Civ IV Medley is amazing, though. I listened to Baba Yetu for hours on end.

That image is awesome. Is that supposed to be a girl?
Because of the company's monetary woes, the game was actually going to be called Financial Fantasy. However, Engrish being what it is, we wound up with the vastly inferior name we have today.
Also, I like how they have the line all cordoned off so the salarymen can stare at the cramped, huddled gamers as they walk past.
I think this counts as Namco's Christmas and birthday presents to Microsoft.
Movie ratings aren't mandatory either. So call this harmless if you want, but it's still a pointless waste of litigation.
I will allow myself a faint glimmer of hope after this news.

You are almost single-handedly forcing me to get a 360. I hope you're happy.

Impatiently yours, cheez

I'd rather have gotten Versus first, but I guess I'll take what I can get.
Looks pretty nice from those screens. I'd be interested in checking out some gameplay footage.
One of the advantages of being a dedicated JRPG player is that I never have to worry about underused colors. Subtlety has never been a hallmark of this genre.
