That's definitely fake. It's just a photoshopped copy of a common image returned when you google search for a Samsung white lcd, specifically the Samsung LE32R71WX White LCD. Plus it's kind of a silly idea. How hot would that thing get? And what if it RROD's, you're gonna send your entire TV back?

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on New Echocrome Screens Make Echocrome Look *Hard*]]> I bought Echochrome from the Hong Kong store a while ago and have been enjoying it for a while. I don't remember even seeing these levels in the game, though. Maybe they've added levels to the American version or the PSP version?

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on PlayStation 3 Ads, Where's Waldo?]]> Just to maybe settle this one aspect of this thread, the Nazi references are overt. These are definitely the uniforms of WWII German soldiers, right down to the gas mask canisters (you can look this up for proof). So that's that.

The question is just 'why'? Well, who knows. It's stated in the post that it was created by BBDO, an ad agency with branches everywhere (go to their website, you've probably seen a bunch of their commercials). This stuff was done by their branch in Chile, though, so if you think about it, some pretty weird stuff gets done in other countries that would never fly in America.

I suspect they were just thinking "powerful regime" and went with Nazi imagery to convey it. Clever? Not really. In bad taste? Probably. But hey... it DOES work. We talked about it all this time and there's plenty of people out there who will just look at it and go "Whooa... this looks cool."

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on SIXAXIS Discontinued]]> I figure this news is no big deal. Why continue manufacture of the SIXAXIS when the DS3 includes the same motion sensing technology? The demand for the rumble-less version just isn't there. And am I the only one who bought two SIXAXIS 'trols and plans on buying two DS3s? I'll have all my bases covered and then anyone who comes over to play LBP who whines about rumble can still have fun, as I don't care about it too much myself. Unless 3 people come over and whine... then I guess someone's SOL.

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on Sony CSR: What? No! Dust Doesn't Void Your PS3 Warranty!]]> Man, I feel like Kotaku should start a "500 People Donate $1 So Ive Can Get A New PS3" campaign. But then... I'm guessing he probably won't want a new one after this.

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on Dust Voids PS3 Warranty]]> WTF, this sucks. I'm definitely not a Sony fanboy, I just really like my PS3. Hopefully it will live up to Sony's word that it will have no problems and/or only collect an appropriate amount of dust before something does go wrong.

On the bright side, I have an uncle who can fix almost anything. He hasn't opened a PS3 yet, but I guess if this happens to me he'll be my fall-back plan...

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on Create Your Own Custom PlayStation 3 Themes]]> Now THIS could be truly amazing. I'm curious to discover the true flexibility the update provides. Haven't installed 2.0 yet. Gotta get to it tomorrow, along with downloading Drake's Fortune demo... actually... I'm going to go start that right now. It'll be ready to play in the morning before work.

<![CDATA[CareyCondor commented on What's Left For the PSN In 2007?]]> I think Trials of Topoq looks pretty amazing after that Playstation Eye demo video, though I don't have the PS Eye, yet. Guess it's time to go pick one up...
