i had no prior opinion on baby harnesses before i became i dad, but after my son was born, i couldn't imagine not using one. i feel like they're a bit easier to manage than a bulky stroller, and my son gets to interact with things as i do, instead of just being looked down at and being pinched on the cheeks. i would recommend it to any parent - not sure about other babies, but my son at least seems to prefer it to the stroller. and ladies love it too.
beat me to it. i was pretty sure there was a reason they don't make indy movies anymore.
one of the problems may be that you're going into the game looking for a replacement for indiana jones - sure naughty dog may be aiming for a "cinematic" experience, but at the end of the day, it's still just a video game. i think people diving in expecting to see indiana drake and to see a new gameplay element every ten minutes without ever repeating (or no gameplay at all) should just head to the movie theater.
70 skill points is assuming the level 30 cap, yes? what i'm concerned about as well is hit cap and stuff like that. i remember all the small things i had to do with my rogue on WoW and i'm questioning whether it's worth it.

i was also referring to having a specific channel for trade/local/lfg/etc. maybe i'm retarded (or maybe it's the console version) but i have yet to find an efficient way to facilitate trades and whatnot.
i've actually been juggling this between uc3 and mw3 for the past week now and it's actually not that bad. it does remind me that i'm the least creative person in the entire world and should never look into character design :(

the nuances of the game are a lot harder to pick up on than i originally thought though. not sure what stats to maximize for dps, not sure what spec i like just yet, stuff like that. i'm incredibly scared of pvp, i'm so unfamiliar with my character. i feel like i've suckled from the WoW teat for so long and have no idea how to use my teeth on other mmos.

i do like it though. my only gripes being the chat channels (everyone friggin' shouts and i still have no idea how to initiate trades without going around asking everyone), and the overpopulation of each area. does this game implement servers? someone tried to explain to me about "phases" but i stopped listening after the first half hour. if there weren't so many characters fighting over so few mobs/quest items, i feel like i'd have hit the level cap by now.
respect level is pretty up there. though it's weird - i started watching/playing baseball when i was about 7, and living in seattle, of course i followed the mariners. awesome time for me, between '94-'98. a-rod became my favorite (and still is to this day), then randy johnson. i was always glad we had griffey, but for some reason he was never really my favorite. of course i respected what he did and was even fortunate enough to see him again when he came back to seattle in '09. one of my more favorite mariners players, but that's about it.
it was nice to get off work and see this article. thank you for putting baseball in my video game site today, owen.

though i wonder if the show 12 will have mauer on the front. again. :/
you're definitely right about them charging simply because they can. though i would think that it'd be more of an annoyance than downright insulting. of course this is for people who buy pre-owned (and i'm super guilty of buying pre-owned, not gonna lie), but it isn't exactly the worse thing they could do, y'know? maybe i'm just too lenient... frankly i'm more miffed by that call of duty elite pass thingy, even though it's not mandatory like the psn pass. isn't there some kinda saying about how you care less when you're not affected? :/
i'm still not getting the uproar over this. if you're buying new, it costs you nothing extra. if you buy pre-owned, it's still a modest ten bucks. and the pass is accessible for whichever ps3/account you have it on, correct? when i bought my slim, my account with other online passes (and all other accounts on my ps3) still worked, sort of like how my dl'ed games worked as well. unless that changed? is everyone that strapped for things to be upset about?? and is subway still giving away uncharted codes?!?!
it's weird, i'm not really a gears fan. and as much as i dislike the "story," i'm still going to pick this up just to see how it (supposedly) ends.
you're like me in MiloDelMal form!

exactly what i did. since i started using steam, the ratio of pc purchases to console purchases has been like 10:1. and not even for new releases, for older games too. loom, monkey island, serious sam, oddworld, etc.
this was my first thought for "obligatory" but i do love me some final countdown.
i used that phrase in my english 1102 class and my professor liked the imagery.. lol
haha, def no nerves struck. and i don't know how i forgot all those samoan wrestlers - and on top of that, there are lots of samoan football players (tatupu, polamalu)! again, not sure how i forgot all that. although i find it less surprising that samoans gravitate toward professional wrestling/football. they're naturally huge. i'm 6'1, 190lbs, and i still feel small compared to the rest of the samoans in my family @_@
sorry dude, still a bit confused. maivia was of the ali'i line which was all samoan, chiefs mainly (malietoa), though even further related to tongans/euranasians. again, which is why my samoan dad says we're "distantly" related to dwayne johnson, and my hawaiian mother just creams over his sturdy, virile looks.
? i was/am unaware of the rock having any hawaiian lineage. the samoan half of my family idolizes the rock - the hawaiian half are still stuck on israel kamakawiwo'ole
i don't dislike him (i've actually never seen any of his work) - i'm just saying, you don't see any hawaiians pop up in news that often.

perhaps i should change that. #bucketlist
i'm a little glad that he's not actually hawaiian, but also a little sad. i think we need more modern representation, aside from "50 first dates" and jason momoa
yeah.... and that's what i have to realize. every iteration of madden goes off the previous year. i'm sitting here pouting about manning's record career when all madden cares about is the last season.
