yeah u dont steer agro, u can gently suggest which direction he should go. its a totally organic control system which can be easily over looked. i think it is genius
I like how it makes me watch a crappy ad for something before it tells me the video is not available in my part of the world
@ManicSockpuppet: I thought it was Judge Death :)
@Spaceboy: and always remember to double tap.
@BattleMoose87: I have the rat 9 and it really rocks.
@oldman: Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria to follow
@nex2null: I'm slowly turning my friends in RPG geeks by giving them small doses of heroquest board game. It's an interesting transition to watch...they are not really into games of any kind and I can see them starting to take more interest in the computer based rpg's im playing because of the board game sessions.
@idontcare444: actual candles with flames and hot dripping wax? that could add a whole new element to the 'fling wiimote at tv' accidents :)
playing thru soul reaver from PSN. forgot how awesome this game is in both its puzzles and story.

Having said that, you can tell it's old due to clunky controls: shoulder buttons to rotate camera, holding a button to enter 'look around mode'

Things really have come a long way in modern console controls, something which I had never really considered or appreciated before.
@NeVeRMoRe666: It's not difficult, it's just unforgiving. Patience is the key to victory.
@Zom-B: but when a score of less than 71% is considered bad, what can you do...

scoring systems are arbitary at best. down right distracting at worst.

give us conversational points that are worthy of raising, be they good or bad. let us set our own score.
@sweenish: yup, let us make our own minds up based on specific points raised in the review
there are two ways to read reviews: the 5 second glance of casting red v blue, or actually reading the review and ignoring the subtitles for each section.

The old way was much better if you read the whole review, they were fair and balanced.

If you read the new style, the whole review feels like filler around a 'I loved it' or 'I hated it' but here is some video so what I write doesn't really matter.

scrap the loved and hated, and just make them bullet points in a straight to the meat review. I still want video though, those are not bad. Just make them meaningful in the context of the review...use them to hit home your points.

I much prefer a review that is not scared to love or hate a game. We all know games can be crap or completely awesome, don't be scared to express that.
@Andrew Wyatt: if you hold it, it will mute/unmute the sound. If you have headphones plugged in, it changes the equalizer settings.
@josh6135: yeah start a private game, only people on your friend list can be invited or join in
@josh6135: I only ever used the in game stuff, never had a problem with it. I was always with friends though, never did public games.
@arionfrost: Ahh yes, that does indeed look excellent
@josh6135: Yeah I just got done with borderlands, looking forward to the next add on :)
Any good co op games for pc coming soon (or even out now)? Something with an RPG flavour if possible
@CCAF drlard: yeah bigger group means bigger trouble for sure. And then if you actually make to 'The Tent of Death' at the top, all hell breaks loose
