Not surprised. This was a long time coming. Gamestop has pretty much told publishers that if they were going to continue allowing other stores to break street dates without penalty that Gamestop would do it as well.

@the7k: Well, I definitely disagree with you on their "overpowerdness." I definitely think some of the characters you've mentioned are easier to play and their combos are strong but other than Rachel, no one on your list has been able to consistently beat me while I play Noel.
Besides, you've named almost half the roster. Are you saying that half of the game is overpowered?

There hasn't been a good Square RPG other than that since FF XII.
I've had my eye on this for quite some time. I love turn based strategy games and this one is looking to push it over the top.
I'm always disappointed when the government approves a patent for something common and frequently used.
I should try patenting the ability to press a button and having your character respond in game by jumping.

Natal is completely impractical. There is zero physical feedback to playing a game and its incapable of the number of different responses most games require. Either games are going to need to be severely stripped of most of their features or its going to be relegated as a party/casual game peripheral.
Imagine an FPS game trying to played on Natal. How are you going to move? To turn? Reload? Aim? Fire? Jump? Duck? Switch Weapons? Look down the sites?
Yes, some of these are feasible while others just wouldn't work.
The nurse looks terrible. Even in the game the nurses are chesty undead babes, so why would they screw with that here?
