Is second-hand game purchasing cutting profits for some games? Hell yes. Just look at Gamestop, who makes a killing over such sales. But even their shenanigans pale in comparison to this.
If you honestly want to make a DLC ending, there will be a shitstorm. There's no other word for it. And that will cause some in the mainstream to question what's going on. They'd essentially be making you pay for the game TWICE.
And that's not even looking at people who DON'T have Internet access. What of the people who can't get DLC? They'll be screwing over everyone, the entire video game industry.
