@Cynical1: Agreed, but I'm pretty sure there is something in most MMO EULAs that says "this shit might go belly up at a moment's notice."
@AngryGazebo: From the actual article: "We received information that this guy was a regular player of an online game, which was referred to as ‘some warlock and witches’ game," said Roberson. "None of that information was sound enough to pursue on its own, but putting everything we had together gave me enough evidence to send a subpoena to Blizzard Entertainment. I knew exactly what he was playing — World of Warcraft. I used to play it. It’s one of the largest online games in the world."
@MelvinaCabbidoe: So to summarize, I agree with what you've said, it's a bit silly to make a giant story out of his Facebook status.
@MelvinaCabbidoe: I traced the game of telephone back and he never even mentioned Glenn Beck until sites started claiming he was giving his "full-throated defense". He also didn't mention anything about a boycott, just that he strongly considered switching couriers. Hard hitting journalism!
@Zhris: Yeah, we have a place in my town called GyroStop and it also has a similar logo. I tried to trade in some tzatziki sauce toward a gryo preorder but they were having none of it.
@-MasterDex-: It uses a Memory Stick Micro but the prices aren't that much different.
@OmegaVader: Good question. The only mention of "free" in the official press release is about the free trial of the base game. Either way, I imagine it will be free or inexpensive considering it is aimed at high levels.
Dance Dance Revolution for the GBC had a similar accessory and it worked great.
Playstation 3....... you ARE the father!
@Charlie Jane Anders: Awesome. I just took out a second mortgage so I can house the 16-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition DVD Set in a detached 9-car garage.

I'll probably have to rent some storage space to park the life-sized replica of Optimus Prime.

Can this entire review be quoted on the back of the DVD box?
@Phydeaux: Why does it have to be an "industry" event? Wiebe has made multiple attempts to beat Mitchell's score, and I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually beats it, but does it have to be at a gaming event? What difference does it make?
@sereal: Calm down. Both Wiebe and Mitchell are very impressive players. Currently, Mitchell holds the record. I realize it is totally uncool by most of you to believe anything Billy Mitchell has accomplished, but I think he deserves some respect. He was relatively unknown before King of Kong came out, and now because of the apparent childish actions of someone not unlike yourself, he has to constantly deal with angry teenagers who believe that a movie is an accurate judge of his character.

I like how you all swarm around the possibility that he might have talked some trash. So what if he did? Have you ever played Halo 3 on XBL? What a bunch of well-mannered saints.

@MSUHitman: Yeah, unfortunately everything must be on TV or the internet to be legit.
