1.2k for a shitty game he'll never even open. Square fans amaze me.
@coin_operated_boy:
That was a little uncalled for. The 360, while not having as many failures as gamers say it does, does have an unnacceptable failure rate. And although I do love the games on the 360 and personally believe that the ones on the PS3 don't even compare (evidence: PS3 fans often list Heavenly Sword as one of the PS3's AAA games) the 360's hardware is shit. High failure rate, huge power consumption, loud fan, non universal hard drive, standard DVD support only, and no wifi. The PS3 is devoid of the above problems (except for the fan, IMO). I mean, the architecture and system specs seem better than the PS3's to me, and it is cheaper, but come on, it has tons of problems. The PS3 is very solidly built.

@L_K_M:
Thank you. I'm surprised most people just speculate on this issue instead of asking an actual European who has first hand experience. But, my questions is, why would Europeans not buy 360s because of distrust for MS? Don't most Europeans have PC's? With Microsoft Windows. Or are there a lot more Macs in Europe?

To counter red shells of course
Yay boobies. So that's what nipples look like. Strange. I thought they were different.
I'm looking forward to the controversy. I'm looking forward to Fox and Thomson shooting of their mouths, because honestly, it doesn't matter anymore, and I think Rockstar realizes it. It makes me happy to know that Rockstar has become so powerful that nothing short of major senate legislation will curb the sales of this game. In fact, I wouldn't mind if the game sucked. As long as it sells. I just want to see the futile attempts of the desperate yet unneducated media. Hell, it could be an actual murder trainer, and I still wouldn't care. You can't solve all of the worlds problems with censorship anyway.
@Witzbold:
Bioshock? I'm not sure that will push consoles in Japan. If it does, it may show Japanese gamers that FPS's can be fun!

@Drakron:
Dude, the PSP is the portable NES. It just happens to have some exclusives as well. I only found out PSP's have disc drives yesterday. And did you know the that it's capable of 3d graphics. You learn new things every day... if you're me.

@Marlor:
The problem is, most developers seem to place no attention to AI (good physics is becoming more common place). I remember thinking the same thing when the PS3 was announced, but I quickly realized that that wasn't what most gamers were interested in, and so most developers wouldn't care either. I'm glad to see that Lucas Arts is, however, stressing AI and realistic Physics with their upcoming games.
People really need to stop saying EA isn't trying. They aren't, but that's not the point. Why the hell should they try to develope for a console with a lower consumer base, and a shitty, confusing architecture when they could develope for a console with a large consumer base and a conventional and easy to use PC architecture.
@HykCraft:
Rockstar also blamed the 360 disc space.

@Eddy666:
The thing is, this also increases dev time. The fact is the PS3 is just harder to develope for. But, if your going multiplatform, I guess you just have to.

@njhardcoreguy:
Why would they need to be toned down for the 360? You speak as if the PS3 is actually a more powerful console. Looking at the numbers, the 360 seems to be more capable to me, but then again, I'm not a game developer. On the other hand, a lot of devs have said that the two consoles were either equal, or the 360 was slightly better. That said, I don't think anyone knows the full capability of the Cell yet, so lets hold off on declaring one console completely superior.

That's weird. I loved the DS box art. That box art said "Mario doesn't take shit from anyone." It looked hardcore. This looks more toned down.
@Sabre_Justice:
You non snakers are such whiners. I'd love there to be a non snaking circuit and a snaking circuit so everyone would be happy, but they won't do that. Oh well. But you won't be able to rejoice. I don't need snaking to beat whiny little non snakers, nor do I use it.

@klew:
No, go to urban dictionary. Hurry!

Has the PSP surpassed the Wii before?
What? Again? Didn't this happen like a week ago? What was the latest event?
@ArmyofJuan:
For shame... No, but seriously, I'm talking about Avatar renters. Although it's partly the dev's fault. If you make a 360 game, at least make the acheivements challenging. But then again, if I were a dev, I'd advertize easy achievements to boost sales. I wonder when that's going to start.
@NeoAkira:
You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Falco is a main and Fox is an alt for me, so I think I would fucking know, especially since I play in tournements. With the exception of their speeds (and yes, they are close to the same in actual combat), almost everything about them is an opposite. Falco stuns with the laser, hits hard, sends them flying, and lands a devestating spike. Fox was built for dash dancing, super rapid wavedashes, and his shine.

And Sonic is a bitch. Hate that punk and his artificial attitude. And his games range from OK to suck. I've never played a Sonic game that I've really liked. It's all about an artificial sense of speed. Why couldn't they have included Megaman. He's actually cool, and his games are some of the hardest I've ever played, plus he's done more for Nintendo than most of the characters on the roster.

I really like Home's trophy system. It clearly displays what achievements the player has earned, not just a number of points (360 does this too, but not as clearly). It will really prevent acheivement whores frome renting one title for 1000 points and trying too pass it off as gaming skill (you know who you are and you should be ashamed).
@BPM5: PROTOMAN'S TRAP?! (my reply button isn't working)

There were no clones in any smash game. There were characters that had the same animations, but played very differently. In fact, Fox and Falco are the most different characters in my opinion. My play style changes completely whenever I play Fox. With Falco, it's all about speed, stunning with the lazer, and spiking, and pillering, but I never mastered that. With Fox, it's all about mindgames and edge camping, and of course the shine.

Sucks they took out the Docter. He was so cool. And I'm going to say right now that Sonic didn't deserve to be in this game. Megaman should be in his place.

Ok, I can breath easy now. My mains are in and my alts got powered up. I'm still a little pissed about samus though. She wasn't OP'd to begin with, so why did they have to nerf her? No wavedashing means she's significantly slower, but I could have lived with that. Thing is, they made the bomb jump throw her in random directions. Why was that neccessary. I can't bomb escape anymore. And why does she transform? What the fuck was that for? Too bad they screwed up my favorite character. But hey, maybe Marth and Falco will get some wake up game this time. Too bad about DMar though. My friend will be pissed.
@Stormrider (XBL: Lilarcor):
I was kidding, but Eternal Darkness did seem very un American in style, so I guess it wasn't a very good joke. Eternal Darkness, man, I wouldn't mind a trilogy of that.

@ssjmichael:
Haha yeah, I sure looked stupid. You know, just telling a light hearted joke. Clearly I intended to do research, but didn't because I'm lazy and stupid. But I'm glad you came to correct me, and gave me helpful advise to boot, and with a smiley at the end ,,|,,
Most people would have taken the oppertunity to berate me in order to boost their own tiny egos, but not a classy guy like you.

What the fuck! Her hair isn't blue! It's some other color entirely! If I were the casting director, I would have gotten someone with naturally occuring blue hair. It exists, just look at bulma in dragon ball.
This is bullshit. There's no such thing as a disc shortage. I didn't think Nintendo purposely created a Wii shortage because the Wii is a console. It has many moving parts and takes time to produce. But now, I can't see any reason for the shortage of SSBB other than creating higher demand. If they make people think there is a huge shortage by creating a temporary one, people will be more eager to buy the game the instant they can. But that doesn't sound like it would increase overall sales very much. I guess I just can't believe they would be so stupid that they didn't get enough discs printed even though they were trying to.
So Silicone Knights is an American developer? I guess so, because they seem to be adhearing to the Trilogy Act of 2002. The one congress apparently passed, because there's no other fucking conceivable reason why every American made shooter/action game has to be part of a trilogy
