I don't think too many people that actively 'PLAY' madden will be playing games those composers work on. i dabble in madden but i play those games =p and yes their work is awesome.

honestly i am tired of the rest of the stuff, but that kotaku party sure sounds interesting....

casual would be about 95% of my friends, who pick up a game when there is nothing else to do and is never compelled to finish something like hardcore. they won't get deeply involved in a lot of games, or become "fans" of a certian game, or try to play a game to the extreme.

tell me how many people that are considered casual, if you were to believe in hardcore and casual, would do something like halo 3 legendary? or dead rising kill 56000 zombies in 1 sitting?

hardcore doesn't exist? tell that to raiders in wow, or MF'ers in D2? Starcraft/wc3 pros? wow arena pros? counter strike and TF2 players.

hardcore exists, but when you're console's library consists of no new 1st party IPS and half your 3rd party library is 'hot mama's cooking adventure in guatamala' people will slam their console as being casual, because your not getting your $s worth and it's not designed for that much brain power/skill... although that can just be a game for stupid people i guess :(

Really i do like CT, it rates up there in my top 5, i even had 2 copies of the snes game at one time. not even the slightest in graphical changes is upsetting. obviously it should be more fluid but why not make it more crisp? you have the moneys and the technology.

and the problem is not the same for everyone, which is the problem for the team at sony. it's not RROD, just reading kotaku.com i see like 5 different types of problems, and on the linked site i see like 15 different problems.

when diagnosing a wide-spread issue like this it's hard to find the source of the problem when the results are so crazy... then you have the whole 'my system won't even start up' problem it's caused.... i won't be updating till i hear a fix came out, i've been addicted to diablo 2 anyway.

I can understand how it's hard to put out a half decent MMO. It takes time to devolp the sooner you get it out the sooner you can start making some money to recoop your loses.

put putting out a product that ultimately fails within the first 2 months is just stupid. If there is no content for 55+ then take what little content there is, adjust it for lower level and cap the levels at 50, change the exp gained from killing and questing to a slower rate so people are not 50 instantly - use a curve, quick first 6 levels/10 levels etc then at '10' the game begins and you play for a month hardcore just to get level 50.

Yes blizzard will have a trifecta, now would be a good time to invest in activision stock =p hell even the stock sites are saying it. WotLK will bolster more people into playing World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 is going to replace Starcraft as the Starlight of Korean gaming, but don't worry, SC1 will be the next favorite sport...then maybe soccer, and of course americans and the rest of the world love SC.

and now Diablo. This is bringing back giddy memories of battle.net it can be 2 years for diablo to come out for all i care now that i know its coming out i am happy.

i played wow for way to long, different characters servers pvp or blue but in the end all mmos are the same.

now what i am looking foward to is Diablo 3, come out and be free to play, like SC2 will be, and i can play get tired quit go back and not worry about putting my money into a pit of unhappiness... i'll try out wotlk, but for about a month, level 2 characters to 80 and call it quits then

speaking of, how much does a 70 pally/warlock/druid go for? horde =p can't really part with my warrior since he has all my special blizzcon toys

Could this guy be any more fanboy for his game, which according to sales and reviews did less than mgs4 even though gears of war was hyped as a AAA game, does that make MGS4 AAAA and Zelda AAAA? World of Starcraft 3 (See what i did there?)

they aren't annoucing planets like this for SC2 and rather putting the information on the starcraft2.com website and their message boards.

a 'game' not a expansion, so its diablo 3 or a different ip like lost vikings, but this has those runes from D2 in it so it has to be diablo 3.

which would be good for them, because diablo 3 is a game that one should/probably will be free to play, so they won't steal much subscriptions from themselves, and people can play both at the same time.
