yeah seriously what are you new? This is old hat, not news and not annoying. They're simple covers you can just take off. who cares?
awesomeness. Theater greatest feature ever
@parasiteartist: haha at the guy who doesn't read the manual.
heck Maddox likes it what more endorsement do you need?
why did almost every shot of this trailer remind me of Robot Jox. Which was awesome.
I'm not sure what the complaint is with DVD packaging. My only grip is with the little alert stickers they put inside the case. Usually I can get 'em off but for instance the one inside of Everybody Loves Raymond Season 1 is under some sort of plastic which was glued to the cardboard back. So I can't take it apart and remove it.. It's just stuck there forever.
the game is bloody brilliant. I don't know if it's overrated but I actually played my gamecube version. Never beat level 3 but I still plan on getting back to it one day.
@Iceking5: Ikaruga? Ikaruga is your go to game for "imagine how awesome if they threw a Wiimote in it". How are motion controls going to benefit a shoot-em-up. Shoot-em-ups are like the gaming equivilant of the shark. Perfectly evolved.
@strix: clearly you never played IH:UD, and you my friend are missing out bigtime.

@nashb81: no. Radical turned whatever work they were doing into Prototype. Which is why I'm looking forward to that game.

UD is the greatest superhero game ever. It had problems and hopefully they'll be fixed but the trailer was just a trailer I'll need more than 40 seconds to lay down a verdict.

I buy games rarely. I generally purchase only good games so yeah I do finish them. But do to the lack of time and priority most of my games are still sealed. One day I'll play them and whne I do I know I'll finish them.
@Mr.DuckSauce: dude.. it's illegal for him to have a gun right now. That didn't stop him.

I'm all for gun control but you're an idiot if you think baning guns would stop gun fatalities.

see now if these kids smoked weed this wouldn't have happened. The first thing you learn smoking is "puff. puff. pass."
@Captain Impulse: I see. That would be kind of odd seeing as how after Final Fantasy VII the series kinda fell off and became less popular.
Oh yes this solid argument makes it way around yet again. Why don't we replace all the characters in Halo 3 with wireframes. All the characters in the next street fighter with mocaps homeless people. You know, just to see how well the games stands up devoid of any recognizeable characters. Noone said anything on 64, it was stupid on Melee and it's inane to propose it with Brawl. Does Smash get points for having Nintendo characters? Of course it does. Those same characters add value, and incentive for purchase for most players. I promise you if Street Fighter 4 was called Asphalt Brawlers and instead featured Spin-off characters from Death By Degrees nooone would buy it no matter how balanced.
@SigmundTheSeaMonster: if you're referring to the article the author addresses that.

By ambience I don't mean background noises and whatever -- I mean the ambience which characterizes the sound itself, so that it isn't too "dry"

Let's think about this another way. A nature film might have a night scene with a bird singing. To me, that is just a typical bird singing. To birdwatchers, that same song could mean something totally different. Maybe he or she knows that bird doesn't make that kind of sound in the night but it does it in the morning. Again, realistic sounds communicate more than fake ones do.

I don't care if this qualifies me as "just another gamer", but I don't care that much. Most people aren't birdwatchers. It's about knowing your audience. If I'm not marketing the movie towards birdwatchers, or heck on the off chance I'm making a movie that has a target audience that selects for people who aren't birdwatchers then I don't care if I have night songs in the day.

Easy Super Mario Bros. 3. I had Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 2 but I never beat those. 3 was my first game I defeated. To this day I'm not entirely sure if I've played all the levels though. The Wizard was the greatest commercial of all time and thanks to it I knew from the git go how to skip half the game.
I woudl think that fact that as of yesterday I heard some Mom calling around trying to find a Wii (unsucessfully) would be a sign that even still Nintendo is printing money.
I'm not sold entirely on a Civ for consoles but my love is so great I'll probably buy it anyway.
I'm left handed you douche bags. Heaven help you if you don't allow for flipping.. Heaven help you.
