Wait, people are pissed that Activision aren't copying Rock Band anymore? Harmonix are fucking untouchable aren't they...
Brutal Legend comparisons are pointless. It's a game based on rock/metal with an atmosphere to match; that's the extent of the similarities.
Having ignored Guitar Hero for the last few iterations, I'm personally happy to see they've opted for a more focussed experience, and one that's a game before anything else.
I'd rather have the option to see them immediately so I can trophy whore without wasting time. Either way it's good to see that Sony are supporting the game over something so potentially insignificant.
@HioMrSan: Surely those who have climbed it with minimal aid understand the difference between doing so and being helped up there? If you understand the challenge, is it not irrelevant if someone else 'cheats' their way to the top?
Wind Waker still looks better than most of the games released this year. Not because the Gamecube couldn't make it look realistic (See: RE4, Twilight Princess etc), but because the art style was different and distinctive.
Nintendo has done this for ages; don't think that they're just saying it now to throw an excuse out there to make up for Wii games looking 'sub-standard'. Even if they did have HD power, they wouldn't let it dictate the visual style of their games.
Damn, nice pun slipped in there. Gotta' say, Totilo did an outstanding job of representing the industry there. Infofrmed and objective; I'm sure it had something to do with being allowed to get a few words in instead of being on Fox news :P
The level itself, you can even walk through it just looking at the stuff on the shelves for most of it, you don't actually need to shoot ANY civilians! I'm sure it's all been said, but (there was a great article on the Telegraph site about this, I think) it's good that we're conveying to the general public how sophisticated games can be in terms of narrative and even sub-text. #modernwarfare2
I really hope this gets a summer release; I'm not going to have time for it early next year.
I got all the points in JC1, and enjoyed it immensely. Getting from A to B was so much fun. I would often take a plane just to put it into a nose dive and do the Goldeneye thing then get back in at the last second and land it properly at my destination. It took an awful lot longer, but that what the game is about: avoiding the repetitive sub-missions in favour of more grapple action :D
AGGGHHHHHH!!! OMG yay :D
Although I do think the SSJ3 hair looks completely rubbish and pointless. Also SSJ3 Broly can gtfo. Stupid character.
I guess Raging Blast covers the Buu Saga then? I'm actually looking forward to when the GT stuff is finally done in a proper game; I really enjoyed GT...
There, I said it.
I find tapping much harder on Guitar Hero than on a real guitar, and I'm pretty damn good at Guitar Hero.
Slightly disappointed that they didn't also include an extended live version of Eruption in the game.
eh, it takes like an hour to become a Spectre. There's no other way they could do it as you can't leave the Citadel until then; if they neglected this it wouldn't conform to the story.
I've been trying to sell my PS3 for the last month, got very close to a couple of sales but I still have it.
After seeing the final design of the slim, I felt a bit better about not having sold my PS3, but now I know it has Bravia Sync... what the hell Sony? Why isn't this in my PS3 ALREADY?
Drink driving with his WIFE in the car? What the hell! If you need to get your wife home and you're drunk, you get a god damn taxi, every time. Bastard.
This is just straight up poor marketing. People who buy an Elite will know where to get HD cables on the cheap and not buy Microsoft's overpriced crap.
I guess if it subsidises a price drop...
