I wonder if there will be mortars / artillery. Would be nice to play as scouts and call out positions for them fire upon. Gives scouts much more meaning than just running faster than everyone else.

BFBC came close to some cool ideas but it all fell to shit when gun physics / damage came into play.

One thing is Im curious to see what urban combat will look like. I will most totally bite if they allow for almost every building to be able to enter and such. Or at least something that would help simulate urban combat.

But yes 60 units will get someone in trouble when trying to take them out of the country without proper export docs and such.

According to folks I know as long as he didnt use his position / military channels to secure all of those items and he did it on his own as a "civilian" then it should be perfectly legal in that sense even though he is a member of the US military. Now if for example he had said these were for a military unit out in Iraq and if he could get a special bulk discount, but in reality its for personal gain or something like that then yes he would get in trouble for abusing his position as a member of the service.

But it does not seem like that was the case here, since apparently he is fessing up to what he did. Also looking at the import / export laws of the 2 countries and how things went about its no suprise this was the ending to the story.

Still enjoyed the experience.

Interesting game. It does seem that making symptoms appear and disappear does seem to work though.

Like sneezing for example + airborne can cause a huge mass influx of spread with the disease then cut it off to drop the visibility level. Which does seem to slow how fast they start shutting things down.

Much truth in what he says. I do support this guy and it is unfortunate that he just went about doing "biz" in the wrong way which put him in this rather bad situation.

I tip my hat at him for being a real man and accepting the fate that he brought upon himself though with the guilty plea.

I dunno I think aimpoints are great. You can toss that shit around bang it up and still dont need to zero it again. Then again optics is all a personal thing so I can see where you might be comming from. Both are great pieces of equipment though.

If he was infact trying to bring in upper recievers that were "modified" even if for airsoft, they still are real upper recievers which does count as a "gun part" deeming them illegal for import into Japan with the Japanese customs laws in regards to firearms.

Looks like the 553 unit goes for around 1000-1400 in Japan.

In anycase someone is out of a lot of money now.

In Japan depending on the model they can go from 700 to 1000 USD about.

Owen you left out the important part of the story where its 60 units the guy tried to bring into the country.

So I can see where he got in trouble for that. For a while I had thought he was getting busted for only a few but 60 units is bound to raise some eyebrows.
