Didn't really feel like staying after the hacking, the horrendous overhaul and THEN getting unstarred for showing people the .ca site. Now that that one has been taken down as well, I rarerly feel like visiting this site more than twice a week.

Thank the gods for not another JRPG being ruined by a goddamn annoying little kid in it. Karol was pretty decent, much to my surprise, but I don't think I could've handled little pirate girl.

Mass 2's opening actually was horrible beyond all expectation. Sure, there was a cool explosion and stuff, but along with the Normandy went down any hope of a traditional and elegant BioWare story.

Looks like... my first Imsomniac game since Year of the Dragon.
Yet, were it to be Zelda themed, most of you would gush all over it.
A shame we won't be an original Pirates game anytime soon anymore, really looked forward to it back then.
Also a shame that On Stranger Tides continues the story the way At World's End ended, with Barbossa alive and taking the Pearl and stuff.
I personally didn't like the sequels that much, sans the fight at the end of Dead Man's Chest, and would've preferred to be able to pretend On Stranger Tides actually was the second film.
Well, in all honesty, DMC was a good film on its own and would've been so much better if it wasn't part of a two-part trilogy like it was. The whole Davy Jones arc in the form we got it eventually dragged on way too long, accompanied by the usual forced, artificial "epic" stuff kids nowadays seem keen to swallow.
Also, Barbossa's resurrection in the way it was done was... cheap, to say the least. If they really HAD to bring him back, making him part of Jones' crew would've made more sense, plus it would've given him screentime to shine as 'the Starscream' once again.
