The people who are saying jto buy freeloader and disconnect wii from internet obviously dont have a wii or dont play new games. Many nintendo if not all games automatically update the console when you first run them.

I dont think I've ever broken a controller. I've broken a Sega Genesis by throwing the controller at a sharp downward angle but the controller still worked fine. There should be further study as to how the controllers can cause stress, triggering the urge to throw them at objects.

@Yetanotheruninspiredscreename: Umm I'm pretty sure that as long as there has been multiplayer there has been chat... I used to connect to my friends pc via direct modem connection to play warcraft 2 and there was definately text chat. That came out what 9 years ago. I will give you that text chat would be useless in guitar hero but what about voice chat. I used to use Roger Wilco which came out in 2000 playing Counter Strike beta 2 which was not too much after. If you could chat half way decent on a 28.8 modem back in the day why not now?

I honestly wouldn't have noticed it was mono if I hadn't read it on Kotaku. Dolby Prologic II emulates surround sound even with mono. Still sent it back though figured what the hell may as well get the proper version. How sad is it that people can't go three weeks without a game. I was much more concerned with the envelope they send you to send the game back. It really looks fake.

HD-DVD isn't Microsoft's product it is Toshiba's and Microsoft did spend a heap of money trying to help the format succeed. Why should microsoft front the bill jsut because they offer an optional add on to their console that supports it.

That would be true If Microsoft owned a huge motion picture studio like sony does.

Oh and i don't have either a 360 or a ps3. Wii for console games PC for graphics. Upscale DVD. Why buy a standalone high def player when can just buy a LG Blu-ray/HD DVD Rom for pc for 200 and change for PC hook up with DVI to HDMI and optical sound.

How much interest do you think they are making by having millions of pre orders sitting in their bank accounts all week end? Theres no way this was accidental pricing. 1st of all it was Friday what retailers change prices on fridays new prices roll out on Sundays. It seems convienient that it was on a friday because with a lot of banks the refunds aren't going to go through until Monday. 2nd they got whole lot of marketing addresses from people. 3rd they will prolly take another week to refund Shipping.

I don't understand people saying it is and obvious pricing mistake companies sell games for a loss all the time to attract new customers and in hopes you will buy other product to make up for their loss. Hell thats how the PS3 works and ToyRus had the buy two games get one thing thats a 50-60 dollar loss for them. The pricing mistakes just happened to be on the 6+ most anticipated games of spring how can that be coincidence? It's not.
