It all depends on how you want to use the gun, but I daresay they want their gun to last more than a few minutes.

I hate it! They end the series with an OMGBBQWTF cliffhanger, and an upcoming enemy that would have been something new than just beating robots up.
The only Mega Man series that had a semblance of a good story to back up all other brilliant parts was Zero and ZX and it's abandoned now.
