@creid - is not New to Kotaku: If Mr Houser wants to sit on a high horse and bash a particular genre of games, he better make sure his game is damn near perfect if he believes it can challenge films in the narrative department. I don't feel GTA has achieved that as of yet.
It's too bad that Niko is so far the best protagonist (if he really counts as one) in the GTA series but he's marred by some weak acting on the part of his actor. Some moments that are supposed to be compelling within the story just come off as funny and cheesey. Of course there are other games out there far worse in this department.

After being bombarded to death with GTA Fn everything the last couple weeks, I ma buying neither.

Contact your local State Attorney General's office and file a claim through them explaining the situation and your proof of purchase. I just had a similar nightmare situation with Beast Buy and I got my HDTV replaced (they wouldn't repair it because the parts were more expensive than the unit but they wouldn't "believe" it was mine either so kept it).
A quick call from the AG along with video proof I supplied to them and the AG made them replace my HDTV real quick.

I'm sure I missed a couple people but what these folks posted is all that needs to be said out of this 300+ post clusterfuck.

Everybody else needs to just open their minds, READ the original article and THINK before they say anything else. That or just shut the hell up. Some of you (and I won't mention any names) have no idea how ignorant and thus unintentionally racist you are coming off as in this topic. If you're aren't black, don't you dare presume to think you know how someone black (note not Al Sharpton) feels about these things or what they may or may not experience.
