@Edix: They aren't hearing impaired translators. Japanese TV often shows a lot of celebrities' reactions, etc. on their variety type shows while showing other clips.
This totally gives me the right to pick a new team to root for, right? I mean, I lasted this long into the Snyder era, so I should get some leeway, yes?
I know those three people at the top! Two of them are good friends of mine! Awesome guys! :)
People of many races, religions, and nationalities have owned slaves throughout history.

Still does not make it right.
This is still a bad move and one in the wrong direction even if it's "only" for wireless. Shame on both of them, honestly.

Not surprised at the defense of Google and Verizon by Gizmodo or the commenters though.
What a bunch of pretentious a-holes around here. This car is awesome.
Who would win in a fight? Duncan MacLeod or Jack Bauer.

Jack has guns, but Duncan is immortal. Could Jack figure out how to stop him in time?
@talkingstove: The people whose copyrights are being infringed, perhaps? At least on the AppStore they have less of a chance of getting through to begin with.
@kubrickian: I would also like to know as well!
@txhoudini: You might want to see this, then:

Only 19% of AppStore apps are paid, and the average price of the top 50 paid apps is only $1.49.

So while you are correct that the AppStore has had a big start and thus the overall payout is higher, it's not like developers on the AppStore have significantly different pricing philosophies than the ones on Android Marketplace.
This is exactly why "the distinct advantage of being more open" isn't really that big of an advantage. I find it a bit humorous, if not somewhat ironic, that the people touting the benefits of Android Marketplace over the AppStore are now asking for features or controls they once bashed Apple for doing in the AppStore.

It just goes to show that a laissez faire attitude with little to no intervention doesn't always work out that well, especially on the wild, wild west of the Internet.

But perhaps this is a discussion better left for Gizmodo. :)
I think that what a lot of people, myself included, have a problem with is the fact that they ignore a lot of "X-factors" when dealing with the matchups and it seems like the weapons they match up in some categories are very dissimilar and aren't even really fair.

Despite disagreeing with the results quite often, I actually love watching the show anyway. It's pretty cool (and scary) to see what a lot of the weapons are really capable of in the hands of people who know how to wield them.
@Frank Grimes: Exactly. Temporary freedom paid for with long term debt.
@YankBoffin: I am wondering the same thing. Lots of the word "plan" in there...
What a pretentious piece of crap.

The future they didn't want was a future without them making money in a market they hadn't tapped.
@TheSheriff: Beat the game once, then you start to get more of Kaine's story.

Also, giggity.
