Uh yeah, that reply was meant for you, not myself.... ahem.
That's how FFXI does it. I know Microsoft has since changed their policy to no longer allow games to be released with such a "loophole". I would imagine this might be the biggest hurdle that was/is stopping Square from releasing FFXIV on 360, despite expressing interest in doing so otherwise.
I wonder if MMOs are exempt from this? DCU Online and FFXI I'm sure get patches all the time.
Majora's Mask? Final Fantasy X?
No, I mean... I'm pretty sure that's supposed to say FFXI and not FFIX.
"FFIX Fighters of the Crystal" is a typo I'm guessing?
According to my 3DS activity log, it took me 25 hours to complete all 252 puzzles in Pushmo. My brain hurts. #talkamongstyourselves
I'm getting a little behind here. I kind of want to skip over Mutant Mudds for now to play this.
Boxes of the same model should work regardless of how many you have (you might be required to press a sync button or something on all units) but I personally have two different pairs working together from separate manufacturers (Linksys and Western Digital). One of my Linksys units is connected to my router while the other three units are placed in different rooms. Worked without any extra configuration.
I have two of these kits, one Linksys and one Western Digital. They worked just fine together without any hiccups.
Welp, there are always those Nintendo Sunday releases to look forward to.
I want this SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. Thanks for sharing!
I think the problem is that the PSP (during it's launch) and the Vita now mostly appealed to the kind of people who normally say things like "I'd rather play on my TV". When they see the console like experiences being offered on handhelds, they feel like that the PSP or the Vita is the device that they could really get into. You even read those articles on how the PSP and the Vita in Japan have people waiting in lines for the launch of these systems. But they eventually realize that yeah, they would rather play on a TV and completely abandon the systems early on. I feel like a lot of the people I follow in the industry who are excited about the Vita aren't really in to portable games that much if at all. I know websites like Shacknews gets a lot of crap for never talking about DS or PSP games, but every chance they get to talk about the Vita is just glowing.
Ah, well I meant in a literal picking up a handheld and opening it to play sort of way. I have an iPhone where I've played a few games but I've not found it to be the experience I was expecting. I get the appeal of only having to carry around one device but the more you need your phone to be a phone, the less of a gaming device it can be.
That's pretty much where I'm at now. I've been playing a lot of Wii thanks to Zelda and am probably going to continue with Mario Party and Rhythm Heaven (plus I've got into Virtual Console again). Aside from that it's enjoying my 3DS and Steam.
It would be nice if they started offering full retail games for download. I love that Streetpass allows you to get tags for any game regardless of whether or not it's in your system but it would be great if they took it one step further and made it easy to check every tag without having to change carts. I'm probably one of the few people out there that sees the added value of immediate accessibility in portable games and probably plays them more frequently than console games, so here's hoping a lot of great content comes out of this announcement.
I think the DAISUKE RAPs are the ones I'm most worried about. It could end up horribly bad.
There was an English version posted on Youtube not too long ago, but when I went to go look for it, the user closed his account. From what I remember, it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.
This was the only game I imported last year. Really amazing game.
I have a PSP Go and I have to put on a case for the bottom portion because it's way too thin to hold comfortably. From what I can tell in screens and video, the Vita looks thin enough.
