I think the controller is a horrible thing because most things I see with MLG on it are 12 yr old kids and crappy merchandise, but I don't think professional gaming is far off we're growing to the point where it can easily exist.
I've only had one joystick break on me and it was from a generic off brand N64 controller. If you wipe down your joysticks every once in a while it shouldn't be a problem. I had a PSP 1000 and 2000 never had a problem with the nubs; One of my friends with a 1000 broke his but got a replacement for around 9$ shipped and it came with different tops. I'm sure you can probably get it repaired by Sony or Nintendo for pretty cheap my DSi shoulder button stopped working but luckily I still had about 2 weeks warranty left and they sent me a box to ship it in for free. I feel like the 3DS slider will be as good if not better than the PSP's nub but it hasn't been out long enough to be sure. I think since the Vita's joysticks are more like joysticks and they protrude a bit it might be a problem but who knows.
The argument is when war is so one sided the country who has less to lose will be much more prone to go to war rather than use up all diplomatic routes first. Ie I would do it if I could get away with it.

The biggest argument I have heard Is war already has a little toll on Americans at large, a small minority serves or has served and war is not felt as it was in the past by the whole nation. A drone pilot will go to work at his scheduled time and come home like a regular job. His wife and kids most probably won't realize the gravity of what he is doing whereas if he was gone for months at a time it would have more impact. Also as there is less to lose we may be more likely to do things than we would have in the past.

Iran claims to have shot down a stealth drone and Pakistan has shot down drones before. Plenty of helicopters have been shot down and a handful of military planes have crashed in recent years. Your ass is undoubtedly grass but with a drone the chances of any our lives fertilizing said grass are much smaller
Anwar al-Awlaki had known associations with Al Qaeda and do you have evidence to back your claims of drones targeting funerals? or coming back for followups? I know of one incident involving a helicopter that Wiki leaks revealed but it wasn't a drone.
Al Qaeda flew a plane into a building full of civilians intentionally, not a military installation but a building full of civilians. We didn't give up nor did we let them come back...
Not sure what your defining guerrilla warfare as during the Revolutionary War americans were in small groups and unorganized which worked well against the British who marched in lines to war. The warfare tactics for which we despised terrorists involved hiding amongst civilians and firing mortar rounds etc. Also if by we aren't calling this cowardly its simply being argued by others it can be viewed by others as cowardly.

The worry with drones is it distances America from what's going on both men are no longer in the trenches as far as little Sarah know's Daddy is working his usual hours. To work in his flight suit and back in his flight suit no dirt, no blood, but he just killed 10 people. I do believe war is a necessary evil and I find the evaluation of its methods to be a good thing.
I think anything that causes undue suffering is considered a war crime ie mustard gas.
I have heard the CSO (Combat Systems Operator) position likened to Modern Warfare by a CSO I dont think it's that far fetched. He showed us video of a few bomb runs he had been in and used the term "bad guy's" after he mentioned Modern Warfare I couldnt stop thinking about how similar it looked.
