<![CDATA[Comments from ThisCharmingMan]]> <![CDATA[Comments from ThisCharmingMan]]> <![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Too Human Online Co-op Hands On: Does Double The Baldur Mean Double The Fun?]]> Bring on the loot...I'm totally down with repetitive gameplay in order to gather some bad ass ridiculously named divine instruments.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Majesco's Marker Man Adventures Sounds Crayon Physics-ish]]> They really couldn't think of a better name than MARKER MAN ADVENTURES? God help us.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Fallout 3 Producer Disappointed With Diablo III And Starcraft II]]> I kind of see where he's coming from there...I mean, there hasn't really been an overhaul. They ARE kind of playing it safe with both of those titles. Not that it's a bad thing, but in a sense I agree.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up, Kiddos?]]> Bash, your kid is fucking adorable. I really LOL'd...for reals.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Diablo III Producer - "Color Is Your Friend"]]> Like I've said...a creepy dungeon isn't creepy if the entire game takes place in the bottom of wells, sewers, and dark, brown and grey ruins. Contrast IS your friend.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Are Video Game Predators After Your Children?]]> Easy Solution: Parents, be involved in what your children do. Whether it's playing baseball in the park, surfing the web, or playing videogames. The world is a scary place and it's YOUR job to protect them. Everyone is swift to blame media and technology on predators. Reality check- predators have been around since the beginning of civilized nations.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Analyst: Wii Might Not Be A Fad]]> I'm inclined to agree with this guy. Nintendo knows what they're doing these days. All they REALLY need to do, is keep going on this casual route, to sell consoles to our parents, grandparents and sisters...while keeping Nintendo fans satisfied with new Zelda, Mario, Metroid and other notable franchise installments. Wii is here to stay. It's going to continue to sell like crazy, and all of you who hate it may as well get used to it being number one for a while.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on BioWare's MMO About "Options And Choices"]]> I'd rather it be a new IP than KOTOR...I guess I'm in the minority.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Game Club Beyond Good & Evil: The First Assignment]]> What a coincidence, I just found this game used for $10, and I've barely made it through those mines. Fate?! I think so.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on "Gears of War 2 More Emotionally Effecting Than BioShock"]]> Right, oversized marines grunting and sawing monsters in half will be more emotional than traversing a half flooded dystopian society with actual thought provoking ideals. I won't hold my breath...

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Too Human: "This Has To Be The Worst Game I've Played In The Last 5 Years"]]> I don't care what anyone says anymore. I think the game looks cool. I think I can spare the $6 or so to fucking rent the thing and find out for myself. People love to hate Too Human these days, and it's poisoning people's opinion of the game before it's even shipped.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Diablo Fans Petition Against Diablo III]]> Yeah, because we all want that really sweet brown/grey color palette. Jesus, Blizzard's probably just as sick of that as we are. Environmental diversity is a GOOD THING. If the whole game is dark and gloomy, it won't have as much effect on the player as it would if you go from vivid forest, to dark cave, or to bright rainbow, to bowls of the earth.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Wii Castlevania Revealed! It's A Fighting Game?]]> oh COME ON. I can't believe Konami thought THIS is what Wii owners wanted. Ugh.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Less Music In Dead Space, Please]]> Yes, they should take a nod from No Country For Old Men. No music.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Ubisoft Already Talking Assassin's Creed 2 Hype]]> They really created a beautiful open world...with NO reason to explore the thing. If that's the route they want to pursue, then they should most definitely create more options, and rewards for exploration. The open world really is just a major nuisance, with no real point whatsoever. If they're going to stay within the same vein of the first game, just give us linear missions with more assassinations, and less saving a million civilians for no reason.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Blizzard Splashwatch Day Four - Lost Edition]]> I dont know what the hell Lost Vikings is.. *hides* but my money's on that. Come on, the LOST numbers...Lost Vikings. That penguin doesn't look very diablo either...

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Who Pitched It?]]> I'd be ALL OVER that shit. Seriously, Aerosmith's Guitar Hero title can politely kiss off, in my opinion. However, The Beatles publishing is REALLY expensive, and I don't see anyone being able to cover their tunes without my stomach turning. I want the ORIGINAL songs...even if they ARE in mono.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Can Too Much Hype For Good Games Kill The Buzz?]]> I think whatever Nintendo has been doing for the past 10 years or so, is the right way to let the public know about a game. Even with Zelda, we knew about the game well over a year before it shipped, but the information that came out, as well as the TIME in which it arrived is seriously important to public interest. As much as we want all the information given to us as soon as possible, if a developer shows all their cards too early, we feel like there will be no surprises to be found in the title. That's when it becomes merely something you felt as if you've already played.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Denis Dyack Tells Too Human Trolls "Put Up Or Shut Up"]]> Oh Dennis...I know you're really passionate about this project. Hell, you've spent 10 years making it! But dude, you really just need to let the product speak for itself. I know, it's hard to contain yourself. Maybe you should invest in a PR rep.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on John McCain Campaigns To Medal Of Honor Music, Composer Displeased]]> I can totally see why he'd be upset. If one of my song's ever got in the hands of a Republican, and used for a campaign, I'd be really really bummed.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Game Reviewers' "Seven Deadly Sins"]]> I'd actually like to see more reviews from the perspective of that particular game, rather than compare it to it's past iterations. For instance, I've never played a Metal Gear game. I'd like to know how I'll like it, what the experience will be like for me, how 'out of the loop' I'll be, etc.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Yes, Guitar Hero III Downloads Will Work In Guitar Hero World Tour]]> Too. Many. Guitar Hero's. Period. Seriously, they're going to flood the marketplace with all these titles, confuse consumers and in the end potentially lose money to people that may have bought ALL these games, if they were spaced out more intelligently.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on EA: Best Of Luck To Former EALA Head Young In Amicable Parting]]> Hey man, I just hope he keeps on rockin' in an EA free world.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Review: Kept You Waiting, Huh?]]> @Azures: I just think the IGN PlayStation team got excited about having a AAA exclusive. They also had no problem excluding anything about cutscene length by way of agreement between them and Konami, in order to get a review up first. There are really only a couple of editors over at IGN that are credible at all. None of them are on the PlayStation team, unfortunately.

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Nintendo: "We're Working On" A Wii Storage Solution]]> So, what are they going to do? Open up the SD slot? That would be fine, but wouldn't it open them up to all kinds of piracy?

<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Nintendo Promises Announcements For "Core Gamers" At E3]]> It must be a brain training MMO.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Boom Blox A Bust At Retail?]]> I think it was more of a marketing issue than a price issue. I don't really think kids generally knew that this game existed, or what it even was. Sure, a lower price point would have helped, obviously. However, if EA spent the dollars whoring out Spielberg's name all over heavy television marketing and getting the message out there to kids, they would have been begging their mothers for the game, thus moving more retail units.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on Gears Movie Gets A Director, Re-Write]]> The dialogue in the game was laughable...if they're truly looking to make this an adaptation with substance...I think they're going to need a better writer than that guy.

]]>
<![CDATA[ThisCharmingMan commented on More Screenshots, Gameplay Info for The Conduit]]> I've been aching for a good first person shooter on the wii, actually. However, this game isn't really doing it for me. The enemy design is laughable, the video they showed off last month was very underwhelming, and the plot is more than cliche. I admire the fact that they're pushing the hardware, but this concept has been done to death. I really don't understand why people aren't going for the stylized look, maybe cel-shading, or something along those lines. Remember XIII? Something new and original like that would be pretty awesome.
