During the week of Media Create Sales: Week 52, 2011 (Dec 26 - Jan 1) The Vita sold 42,648 with a total of 439,986. So that it had to sold 60,000 from the 2 to whenever it stops. With no new games releasing that week it makes no sense for a boost to happen. Can't wait to see this week numbers from Media Create.
Yet another game that 360/PS3 fans said they wanted if it was only on their console. Last time I check they said the same thing about DeBlob, and Goldeneye. One Bombed!, and as of right now the other is not looking too good. Certain games, and certain characters only work on certain consoles.
The concept art was just that concept. The didn't use it, and weren't going to anyway due to Disney. The Wii version sold 1.3 in the US alone. How stupid is that?

The 3DS launched in spring with the same price for 2 days, and still out sold the Vita. The Vita is all hype, and no substance.

The 3DS is ahead of the DS pace aka the best selling system of all time. Last time I check third party games like Just Dance are selling better than most T-M rated HD games. At least according to Novembers NPD. Then we have Zelda which yes is not the mega must have like Modern Warfare, and Skyrim. It still out sold Batman which is on 2 consoles. It also so almost the same amout of copies in 6 days that Uncharted 3 sold in 26 days. So you can feel if you want that the "gimmick train is losing team. The fact of the matter is Nintendo has made more money doing less then Microsoft and Sony have doing everything possible just to compete. Ask Sony how they feel to release 10 exclusive games in 2011 only to out sell the Wii YTD by 50,000 systems. Oh ya Nintendo released hmm 5 games with only 2 being worth a dam. So ya it's pretty easy to see when it comes to business Nintendo is miles ahead. Making money, and not wasting money with little to no effort.
In the US the Vita has a chance since the games seem to be more for the US gamer. The Japanese launch will be decent, but without a killer Japanese game as in Monster Hunter. I don't see it taking off until it get those games.
You know where you at it's Kotaku. If there is no news then you go to the Nintendo drawer, and say what you want. Believe when Sony makes it's a Bravia TV that has a console built into it, and sales it for 1000. People will be complaining about Nintendo not following suit. Even though the idea of buying a game console over 500 dollars is a completely retarded.

Nintendo Of America doesn't expect much from this game. After watch the European numbers not even do better than the Japanese numbers. The desire of the many will always out way the wants of a few. Business is Business, and you can never justify a business decision that may not help you overall. You bring up Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 sales in Japan as a example. Yet you didn't look at the reals facts of those numbers. There are 12 million HD consoles in Japan. So far that game has only sold around 250,000 games. That's not even 1% of the target audience. The reason they can do that is because of the real money they will make in the West. The same way Japan treats Monster Hunter in the west. Despite what it sells here the real money will be made at home. Nintendo is in different situation with their games. If it's not 2D Mario/Pokemon/New Japanese Hit their games sell enough in Japan. Not enough to cover what they may make in the West.

Thank You, but your logic will go over most people's head. This is the sad state of gaming. Madden, Call of Duty, and every other yearly release game gets a pass. Any other game that comes out once a console generation some hows catches all the hell.
Only in the dreams of Fan Slaves does this game even have a 5% of being. As successful as the Smash Bros Franchise. You basically got a bunch of dead franchise, retire franchises, or milk franchises characters in a game. Which none of them by themselves have help Sony this generation sale more hardware.
