"Probably none of you are old enough to remember this movie from the 80's with Tom Hanks(!) called Mazes & Monsters. Basically it's about Tom's character playing a thinly-veiled version of Dungeons & Dragons. This movie came out just as Dungeons & Dragons were catching on among young people and a lot of people were scared of it, because they didn't know what a role-playing game was - just that everyone's kids were playing it and it was scary because of that. Sorta the way videogames scare people now. Anyways, Tom has schizophrenia in the movie, and he starts to believe that his RPG character is real. And he's going to slay some demon at the Two Towers, and the big "revelation" in the movie is that the Two Towers are in actuality the Twin Towers, because the movie is set in Manhattan. Anyway, I think he stabs some security guard and his friends find him just in time to call an ambulance and get him help. Check it out on IMDB."
