For those that are wondering about the Game of the Year accolade, Gamespy awarded Civ V "Game of the Year" in their Strategy category for 2010.

I won't say anything about how Gamespy is a direct partner or anything. I promise I won't even mention it. I swear honestly.
I don't think it's all that bad. It's just that the media loves to latch on to stuff like this as it's good for revenue and clicks. Making it seem like nobody has a sense of humor. All business as usual.
They'll complain that it's too dark. From the book How to Understand the Internet and it's Denizens chapter 43 entitled They'll Complain About Something Until You Change it, Then Complain that You Changed it. If You Change it Back They'll Complain that You Changed it Back Because it was fine before. Complain Complain Complain Ten Thousand Million Headed Hydra of Incessant Complaining. Or, What Does it Take to Please You Internet? Oh You Can't be Pleased Ever Because You Exist in the Hell of Hungry Ghosts? Ah OK Thanks For Telling Me.

That's literally the name of the chapter.
Cpt. Kangaroo's jacket was a solid red with white piping. I would lay money on the 6th doctor via the lack of mustache.
I drive a car every day and I'm awesome at it. I guess any driving games are out of the question now. Thanks for enlightening me, logic is not my strong point as I'm driven almost completely by emotion at all times.
Since you're not enjoying getting your words taken out of context, then you should note that he did not blame rioting on video games, as you stated, but he only mentioned violence in video games as part of the equation. Which, is an easy enough statement to understand someone making if that's their opinion.
At this point in time they've been developing Elder Scrolls titles for consoles and PC platforms side by side almost as long as they were developing them exclusively for PC only. I'm sure they've moved on "mentally" (collectively as a company) from being PC exclusive game makers long ago and an idea like loyalty or "knowin' yer roots and representin for your OGs" or whatever doesn't even come up anymore in their meetings.
Good idea. Hopefully they'll take it further with the detachable 3DS that in turn has another smaller detachable 3DS that you can wear as a watch. Then you could have a 3DS that detaches from that that you could wear as a ring. The 3DSuuu
Hammer head sharks by the way. (btw)
No more hand grenades in your ass. And no more hammer heads in your aids hooray.
You can't, and that's the punchline.
More of a concern for me is if they finally understand now that women folk don't have the same kind of receding hairlines that men folk have. God I hated the receding hairline-going thin at the temples-hairstyle when it popped up on a female character. It was just wrong, so wrong, even for a fantasy world that kind of nonsense is just bad.
He's one of the most famous musicians that has ever lived having sold more albums than the Beatles. He's well beyond the "15 minutes of glory." Must be very young I'm assuming and missed the entire decade where his face and the face of his bandmates was plastered on every music magazine out there.

Not that his opinion is more valuable than anyone elses on this topic, just sayin'
He never said video games are solely to blame, which you're arguing against him for saying. He said they're part of the cause. You're doing in essence exactly what you're accusing him of doing.

Big problem with the world right there.

He said "...brutal TV and brutal video games are A reason for this pointless violence AS WELL."

Now, after hearing that in the way it was intended, not in which you read it or want it to be, examine how you feel towards me for pointing that out.

Am I an asshole? An idiot, a big meanie? Do you see those feeling rising to the surface? Can I blame internet forum posting for the next riot because it makes people sometimes feel a certain way that isn't quite so wholesome, would that be the proper thing to do?

Not trying to say anything personal here since I don't know you, the person behind the thoughts you posted, I'm just showing a point here that it's misunderstanding in general that is more of a problem here in many regards. Noel misunderstands, you misunderstand Noel, I misunderstand lots of things as well because I don't take the time to really think about things before I act on them. Much like the rioters I'm sure.
But it was said on the internet, so it's dead serious.
There are no wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. There was an invasion and occupation of Iraq and the same in Afghanistan.

US Congress did not declare war in either case. The last time Britain declared war was in the 1940's.

So his point stands.
