Harrison has a point about competing with Nintendo. Nintendo comes out with some of the best games and usually space out their games every two or three months. If you want to release a game at the same time Nintendo releases their's then you better have a game on a Resident Evil or Metal Gear level, 'cause if not, everyone is going to buy the Nintendo game. The best thing to do is release your game when Nintendo isn't releasing anything. If SSBB came out at the same time as No More Heroes do you think anyone would have bought No More Heroes? I don't.

You go into the guy's penthouse office and the guy jumps in a mechsuit and starts shooting missiles at you. You try to hide behind the wall but it gets blown away until there's only a small metal pillar to hide behind. That was awesome.

Did I like every single game that came out on that system? Hell naw! I just played what I liked. I liked Contra and Metal Gear and Mega Man. Back then I'd see someone play FF1 and say, "WTF?"

Obviously FF1 sold, but it wasn't for me. Will I buy WiiFit? Probably not. I'm not in the WiiFit market. I am in the Smash Bros and No More Heroes Market and will play those instead and whatever else comes out that I like.

If Nintendo continued to only market to the "hardcore" gamers then this could've been their last console. "Hardcore" gamers left Nintendo in 3rd place last gen so they had to find some new fans. They're still making their hardcore games like Zelda and Metroid and 3rd parties are looking more and more promising.

Nintendo is in first place now because they appeal to a variety of tastes. Id you don't like a game move on, beeyatch!

The reason why your character keeps moving in the same direction when the camera changes is so the camera can rapidly change without the player having to readjust each time the camera changes. Isn't the reason people buy sequels is for something a little different but overall more of the same? I mean, what's so different about Halo 3 from Halo 1, or RE: Code Veronica from RE 1, or Tekken 5 from Tekken 1? Whatever.
