"I'm indifferent to Penny Arcade but all I've heard about the expo has been positive and that, Hey, they put on a good show...
As a Gamer, and a Geek - should I care about anything else?"
"I'm honestly so sick of reading this shit...
It's pretty safe to say that most people on Kotaku are pretty hardcore gamers (by which I mean simply that Gaming is a part of their life they invest a lot of time/interest in)
Yes, there are a bunch of very "female" games, but why is it never pointed out that the vast majority of these are not actually marketed at women in general; but at either 1."
"@DukeOfPwn: I like it, it's a great game; tbh my life is a little messed up right now with where I'm living though.
What I mean is - I'm not doing it on it's own, once I move in a few weeks I'll also be doing lots of OTHER exercise."
"I'm waiting for University to start (in September) and unless I manage to find a job (hoping to, but no luck so far) I'll have all the free time in the world.
But I STILL have craploads of games I've barely played or not even loaded at all, and it looks like it'll stay that way :("
"Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a tad proud when they see a good story/article before it's up on Kotaku?
It's so full of goodness it's rare that I see something first before it's up here; so it feels sorta special :)
(Then I also go "Oh Crap!"
""Unlike Warcraft, this is not a game about crafting your own unique virtual persona."
Uhm, Warcraft wasn't a game that had anything to bloody do with "your own virtual persona" - It, and it's two followers, are Real-Time Strategy game.
World of Warcraft, however, is a game about crafting your own "unique" virtual persona.
Get it right and stop misinforming those who don't know much about Games."
"I have a DS and a PSP.
The PSP barely has anything, but a few "must-have" titles (Patapon, LocoRoco and Lumines)
The DS has a ton, but you're right, nothing at all has been released in ages."
"So we're all supposed to be immune to constantly gunning down everyone in Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, GTA IV, hell - pretty much most games of certain genres - but if someone makes a game about dealing with the grief following a murder, THAT is what's considered messed up?"
