Seriously, I bet you are no older than 18. Where I worked is irrelevant. I'm sorry I don't appreciate rip-offs, but I'll probably play this game either way. It pisses me off, sure... but I know a friend that will buy it, and just because I absolutely hate that they couldn't even design their own enemies, I'll play it with an open mind. It still gives me all the right to hate the concept behind it, even if I think the game is a large amount of fun.
My favorite games of all time don't have "Halo", "GTA", or "Call of Duty" as their titles. Sure, some do have "Zelda" and "Mario", but you couldn't even begin to guess my favorite games of all time.
If you really want to have the Gamestop argument, I wasn't the "HEY, BUY IT USED" employee when I started out, either. The question shouldn't be forced and I never forced it. It never went farther than offering them the discount card and then OFFERING the used game. Unfortunately, that's the job you are given and some people are just bigger assholes about it than others. You offer, they say no, you go on with your day. I also wouldn't sell people scratched copies of games. *Gasp!* amazing, huh? The point is, it's the same exact type of game that uses the same enemy patterns and type of enemies. The life bar and item boxes are in identical locations. A game that admits to paying homage = they stole the ideas, plain and simple. GET. THE. HELL. OVER. YOURSELF.

2) Let's see. Most gameplay mechanics are the same. Yes, it's not the only adventure game in this style, but this is set-up the same way. Dungeon and level layouts look almost identical, if it wasn't for the blocky 3d look. The weapons have been said to be mostly the same (any difference clearly isn't being shown in videos, instead they have focused on boomerang, bombs, and hookshot). Of course they have to do a character swap, but lol, I can make Link if I want to. You claim there are new enemies, yet overlook that fact that they have SOME OF THE SAME EXACT ENEMIES from Zelda.
3) I know what I'm talking about. Unlike every PS3 owner proves, I can call something out if necessary. If you don't think this game is a rip-off, you are an idiot. The difference should be in how much you care about said topic. Maybe you don't care it's a rip-off - that's fine. However, claiming it isn't makes you a stupid fanboy. It's that simple.
