@SteveBosell: How is that trolling? He's just saying he'd also like some of those bands even though he likes ACDC.
Not really a surprise to me. I mean, if you get ACDC, you're not just going to get one song from the guys and be done with them. I've just been wondering what exactly they're gonna make for download from them.
Unfortunately, no vocals = no purchase for me. The interface also looks like ass.
Kingdom Hearts and Jak and Daxter sequels announced is what I wanted in addition to that.
What is he, retarded? Not for getting a PS3 but to sell his 360 and all his games on it, he's retarded. Assuming he had around 10 games, he probably lost $600 doing that. Not to mention not all of the games were probably exclusive to the 360 and he probably wasted a bunch of money rebuying the games for the PS3 after selling them.
Sony had the best manner of doing their press conference: the speeches, how they announced it, the sound, the trailers. All great. Problem is they didn't show anything. I don't think there was a single surprise in the entire conference. And they barely showed off the upcoming PS3 games we should be getting excited for. They only had one game demo during the conference where they should've had many more. Nintendo's was almost as bad but they did have Voice Chat so... Microsoft had the best conference in terms of content but it still isn't saying much.

However, getting away from the conferences, I'm definitely most excited for Microsoft this fall. Nintendo has almost nothing this fall. And there isn't that much from Sony that I'm interested in. LBP and Resistance 2 are the only things that interest me coming out this fall for the PS3. Microsoft has a ton of games that I want coming out this fall. It's kind of disappointing since I was planning to get a PS3 but all of the games that I'm really looking forward to keep getting pushed way back and they haven't been talked about in awhile. Like White Knight Story. That would've been a great game to talk about but they didn't. Here's hoping Leipzig and TGS have much more announcements than E3.

I would give anything to be watching these announcements right now. When they pronounce Petz, do they pronounce it so you know it has a 'z' in it?
Bullshit. Don Mattrick should be singing this.
That was awesome. I watched it 3 times and laughed each time.
The thing is, I still think I would want to go to E3 if I could. There aren't booths and swag but the games are still there to play so it'd be awesome for me. Unfortunately, E3 is exclusive now so...
That's gonna be tough to cover. Aren't you forgetting Activision? I know they're not technically a part of E3 but they have an event planned at the same time... right nearby... so for all intents and purposes, they're at E3... Or have they just decided not to release a list of what they'll have at the show?
I listened to the rumored setlist and if it's true (which seems very likely at this point), I really can't way for the game. Thing is, they could've made no changes to the gameplay and just released the disc with all 80-something new tracks and I still would've bought it. I mean, that would definitely be worth it. 80 tracks as DLC would cost $160 and even if they were all the cheaper price, it'd be $80. But it only costs $60 for the individual game with all 80 songs and it DOES have some changes. So if you have the first game and you like it, there really isn't much of a reason not to buy this.
Not a very useful trailer. But it doesn't affect me too much since I know my computer won't be able to play it.
Thing is, it looks interesting but with no fatalities... Because I don't who it was that posted the first article on this but they mentioned that DC probably wouldn't want a game where you can decapitate Wonder Woman with a fatality. But now that's all I want to do...
That's not bad actually. Sega's just trying to do some sort of viralish type of thing with the werewolf aspect. Other than, obviously, the werewolf mechanic being in the game, none of that is probably representative of what will actually be in the game.
The graphics are just amazing. But my problem with the game is so far, they haven't shown anything interesting about the gameplay. At this point, it just looks like Call of Duty 4 with loads more gray and less terrorists. They don't really have any interesting weapons or mechanics to go with the amazing graphics. The multiplayer might change things though. Hopefully the E3 previews clear some things up.
Fable 2 and Gears 2 are what I'm currently excited for (and Rock Band 2) but what I'm really looking forward to are whatever new things are going to be announced by Microsoft. They seem to have a lot of stuff up their sleeve for this conference so I can't wait.
I can't wait for E3 this year. A lot should of new stuff should be there. It sounds like it'll be hell to cover though with big press conferences going on all day, each day, while at the same time you have to cover all the games on the show floor.
News just keeps getting better. That's 21 songs leaked already. Maybe that survey saying the disc will have 120 songs on it wasn't a mistake after all.
This is awesome news but I was kinda hoping for Don't Stop Believin a bit more...
