Considering the way Nintendo makes games- that is, aimed at new players, not just existing ones- they're probably avoiding achievements so it doesn't seem like a barrier of entry to casual and new players, an indication that it's all about your e-penis.

Let the player decide what they think is an achievement worth remembering.
@Fernando Jorge: It's probably the closest translation, you know how those can be.
@Mercsenary: And yet I talk to people every day who believe North Korea DOES pose a thread, and I don't even live in the US.
The comics already are in constant continuity clash with each other, a crossover fighting game has many good reasons to not give a shit.
@SpartanFry: You seriously believe all that?

Forcibly conscripting their entire population does not an army make, a few tests of warheads when they can't even afford missiles to fire with with does not a nuclear arsenal make, and what the hell does China have to gain from making an extremely unstable neighbour more threatening?
@Fernando Jorge: As the other guy says, it's probably a good idea to make the distinction as Japanese RPGs tend to be really linear, and even many western RPGs are too compared to Fallout.
Normally even SA forumgoers don't even bother with the front page but this is hilarious. Maybe I'll check it more often.
@SoftcoreGamer: Not so much pictures but the unlockable items could indeed change the rail to find secret areas or other stuff to photograph.
@muriani: Exactly.

It's kinda funny how a lot of SNES games age greatly- look at the Super Mario All Stars rerelease, I trust you it did not need any alterations whatsoever- while many N64 games are the sad opposite, graphically at least but often gameplay too.

Then again, I love the original Star Fox.
@Khoa C. Dao: Sorry, but you're probably insane and/or rich.
@Tate O'Malley: Yes, but you really can't convince me that the games take the full development costs and time to justify being priced the same as games with multimillion dollar budgets.
I still can't take a game seriously when it pretends North Korea will ever be anything resembling a threat to America.
Why do people think there isn't a market for games with dogfights anymore?

The only problem is that these things are never advertised. A lack of marketing has killed so many good games.
Still one of the most fun games on the N64. Short, yes, but oh so sweet and full of secrets and different ways to do things.

It's a rail shooter in disguise when you think about it.

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET A SEQUEL?!?
@dragonblade1214: Nobody ever had any speaking dialogue in the games that I'm aware of, beyond the OBJECTION! etc voice clips.
...has anyone ever paid full console price for a shmup since the 80s?

I'm not going to be polite, this game looks like a SNES game. Who the hell buys this?

Judging by the blushing anime girl, moe otakus apparently. Those guys are insane.
@GunFlame: What a horrible night for a curse: In Japan? Most likely terribly, the console ain't exactly popular.

Over here, I doubt they sell either, except maybe to like 10 crazy weeaboos.
