"Nothing new in terms of news. Sony does it with the PSP/PS3 and Nintendo does it on the Wii even Microsoft does it on Xbox live.. This means the DSi's virtual console is region locked and there is a good reason for that, it because of accounting purposes for the seperate branches that will handle digital distribution of the titles. To put it in simple terms each country has its own DSi virtual store built in to that country's DSi."
