Hm. It read just like the reading material in my Ethics class.

Also, Foucault. Do I win something?

How handy. I just bought Bioshock the week it came out.
I was playing it again last week until my Xbox 360 controller's batteries died. I couldn't be arsed to replace them until today.

The day we moved the TV downstairs because we got cable in the new house.

Need... New... HDTV...

Man, that second woman was a fatass.
She had a man-style beer keg, along with that ever-so-typical ultratight shirt.

And why did she get the prize for destroying a silhouette and crawling through the remains like a dog?

Multi-Tap always wins. It's a nice breath of fresh air.
Especially since I was without internet for a week. Do you know how hard it is to catch up on Kotaku news?
To an impartial player (never played either, but want to play Galaxy), I'd have to say that the only things that I noticed were:
In Galaxy, there's more bloom, roundness, sort of a shiny look, and it feels more active.
In Sunshine, everything seems a bit washed out (no pun intended >_>) and subdued. Of course, that could just be the video capturing system.
I thought AC6 was too easy. I just finished all the Assault Records, and beat the game on Expert while I was at it.

Now, Ace is hard. Two bullets and you´re dead. You just need to look at the missile to die.

Neato.

Yes, we Mexican young'uns do have a lot of disposable income to spend. My cousin recently bought a 1080p 50" HDTV, an Xbox 360 Elite, and about 5 games using his disposable income. And yes, he still lives with his parents. Since we still have family values, living with your parents does not mean you're a geek sitting in front of a computer eating Cheetos.

That said, everything electronic costs more here. The Xbox 360 goes for $550. The Elite goes for $600. The Wii goes for $500. The PS3 goes for $1000. Games usually cost $70-90. We get 1500 MSP cards for the same price you guys get your $1600 MSP cards.

Although, the food here sure does rock. :D

@muu: Aye. The Ace Combat series is just pure awesome, and their motto of "Noone else comes close" actually works for them. Too bad the Ace Combat community are a bunch of gibbering idiots. They've been this way since Ace Combat 5. Too many fanboy prejudices and too many closed minds.

@Nick The Newbie: Case in point.

@HYKEWNE: Oh aye. Airport security is as uptight as Jack Thompson's anus.
Giggle. I'm playing Halo 3, Orange Box, Bioshock, Oblivion (still >_>) and Ace Combat 6 (when I replace it tomorrow. The disc was defective.)

My wallet weeps for mercy. I still need to get a Xbox Live subscription. >_>

Cue flamewar in 3... 2... 1...
T.T

There goes my dream of buying the X52 with pedals...

*weep*

I've only ever seen 3 Starbucks within a 10km radius of my house.

Living in Mexico rocks. Corporation-wise, at least.
The internet and power grid sucks monkeys.

Also, the Wii costs $500 (but the 360 costs $550! (and the PS3 costs $1000 (and the DS costs $350 (and the PSP costs $350))))

That was absolutely kickass. I'm amazed those kids made it through those 6 minutes in formation while still playing the songs from memory.

And that comes from my band days (I even have an award! Euphonium is the best instrument EVER)

That said, the trumpet section needs a LOT more work.
Damn trumpet players. Always lazing about with their work.

Damn, this is why I hate X-Play. Last time I watched anything related to them was about 16 months ago. Damn you, Kotaku!

I just want my damned games reviewed with a witty sense of humour, not another damned skit that's barely funny at all. >_>

Also, how does he get all the GLaDOS components off of the computer without the rocket launcher?
Holy crap this was amazing. Reminds me of the 3-hour HL2 run.

"Wall-climbing buggery" made me laugh.

I quit reading game-related magazines about 2 years ago. I mostly liked them for the reviews.

Lately (lately being at the start of this year) I found Kotaku and Joystiq. Joystiq was a veritable pile of shit, so I just have Kotaku now. Never looked back.

Up-to-the-minute gaming news vs. an outdated magazine? No contest there.

Again, the reviews are what kept me reading. I enjoyed PSM a 3 or 4 years ago. And you can't deny that looking back at software/hardware predictions is just bloody hilarious.

@huxle: Kiddy game? As I remember it, Banjo Kazooie was the best game ever. Banjo Tooie was also damned awesome.

Man, I wish I could find cartridges of the game. Current emulators have problems with the z-buffer.

@brent_w: That's because a NES or a SNES doesn't render in 3D. The pixellation is deliberate, and there's no need for antialiasing.

Jaggies look absolutely horrible on a big screen. >_>
