My theory would be, since a good number of PSP games basically altered the face buttons to working the camera, they'll just make the poles of the right analog stick to trigger the face buttons. Pushing up will be triangle. Right will be circle. And so on.

This doesn't require any new code from the game developers. It won't be as smooth as proper analog controls, but it's a quick option that could make games like Peace Walker that much more playable.
For a game whose public reveal was a heart wrenching trailer, to be so close to release and then advertise with this? I mean, I don't mind it personally. But it seems like they'd completely dropped what captivated people in the first place. You grab everyone's attention with cheap but effective tragedy. And then you kinda... try to shock with sexy gore? I don't think this was the best plan...
It's not racism, it's just not really great voice acting. There's a difference.
I have this kinda skeevy feeling that the most popular pawns are gonna be the pretty girl companions...
Those analog sticks are going to gather a lot of lint...
A lot of those functions look INCREDIBLY EXCITING actually. I may have to dig into those painting tools to see what is really possible but if that means making my own art in the game I'll be all over that like you wouldn't believe.
Quite a few games do, just last week the No More Heroes remake came out with Move functionality. A bunch of sports games do, as does the ubiquitous Zumba Fitness. And big titles like Bioshock Ifinite will use it.

That said, the pick up hasn't really been enough to justify the costs of going with Move. But it's there, and there's actually quite a lot of support when you know to look for it.
Get me a proper tumblr app on that thing and I've got no reason to carry a iPod touch anymore.
Pfft, a far more interesting promotion would've included using the excellent character creator. It doesn't mean too much to just drop in a random name, if they picked your character along with your design then you've got something to be remembered for. Ah well.
Just thought I'd share...

We're not talking about what the law is. We're talking about how we think it's a stupid law.

"Imaginary is imaginary" needs to be fought for. How else could I play a murder theft simulator like Grand Theft Auto?
I'm actually still stuck not being able to believe they have the right to search a laptop like that. I guess I'm naive. And I guess I'm not travelling to Canada. I don't like people pokin' around my bags, much less anyone pokin' through my lappy.

Anycase, I've donated to the CBLDF before, and I'll still do so now. It may be a hopeless cause but it's one of those causes I believe in.
You forget the core of the article which stated this was a feature Developers were demanding from the ground up. Sure, not every developer is going to spend resources on something they can't be certain is going to be there. But the developers that do will have an intriguing selling point for their games and gamers that play both at home and abroad.

It doesn't have to be integral to be interesting. And the developers here, were clearly interested. As are many gamers I'm ready to assume.
I'm still just thinking Sony could do themselves a big favor and start touting Remote Play with the Vita.
All this makes me think is that I want Remote Play for the PS Vita...
Shut up and take my money.
I appreciate the explanation, and this reminds me to jump back into the game again!

It's obvious that the creator was working under the technical limitations of the exploit, but I am incredibly impressed how they were able to take the limitations and turn them into assets. The shalow depth gives everything a strong oppressive feel, not to mention the sound design amplifying that. It's like having a heavy robot suit in space. It's probably horrendous to control, and ultimately terrible as a game. But as a short art piece I find the video of it more than just technically impressive.
Wait a minute, I was a little confused here. I had to read the article twice through carefully just to be sure that I wasn't in any specific danger thanks to 3.61. I mean, I've already accepted that my particular system is old and tends to run its fan high often. But you guys had me worried there for a second that this was something specific and going to kill my system the minute I get the game in the mail and pop it in.

I already worry enough about the system, it doesn't help to have a freaky headline like that.
