everyone knows that the best Hoth level was in Super Empire Strikes Back. they did the snow speeder tying up an AT-AT first and on the SNES no less. It was epic and has been oft-copied since.
hey fahey, thanks for including a canadian gaming site (gamefocus.ca) in the frankenreview. i write and edit for them and it's nice to be a part of this.
@Malloc: i think he means fallout 3-pack. the one with 1, 2 and tactics. just missed the "-pack" part. i'm sure nobody thought it was fallout 3 for $4...
I could be mistaken, and I haven't watched this bit, but didn't Attack of the Show already do this bit? And didn't they do it before the game even came out? Yoko Ono character sings off key with the songs, gets in the way, and then whispers things to each bandmate until they break up and she's alone with "John".
I've got to speak up a bit about this and many other stories popping up on Kotaku. I love Kotaku and the many varied voices of it's writers, but why, in a story about Battlefield Heroes, is there no external link to it's site?

This has been happening more and more lately and it would be nice if I didn't feel like all the links were just traps. They look like external links to the Battlefield website, or even a download page, but they're all internal links. Is this by design or just a fluke because it kind of sucks.
@goldenroad: yup. list=unfinished if it doesn't include Red Faction. That IS my summer game (alongside playing through Point Lookout in Fallout 3 and InFamous).
this game fails as much as it did then because of my least favourite game cliche, the time limit.

if they had removed it, i wouldn't have avoided this game like it had the monkey pox. boo-urns to time limits. yay to zelda in general!

bought wii fit on the day it came out. haven't had the inclination to buy anything else since.

have had my eye on madworld and no more heroes though...

if they ever made a proper cart of this, i would totally fight a dude for it...
@fahey: couldn't disagree more. i would trade any three white zombie songs for just one more turbonegro song in rock band. have been waiting far too long to play them and can't believe it's only one cut off one album...
they have fifa and pure on the sports docket but somehow left off nhl 09? wtf?

list the features and you'll be just as confused as i am. for be a pro mode alone, it deserves to be nominated.

now, as if it was even possible, i care LESS about the bafta game awards.

and maybe they could finally make remote play work on my f-ing psp. i have yet to make it work outside of my home, and now it doesn't even work inside my home...f.
congrats and good luck! hope all goes well!
that is the worst fucking commercial i've ever seen. it made me uncomfortable and sorry for each of the 3 stars that were involved in it.

oh, and kobe deserves it.

dammit. i'd love to have one. why can't they make it available in north america? canadians would love a non-subscription dvr to use with their ps3's...

just wish you could actually send the recordings to your psp not use remote play. remote play never works for me anyways...

YES!!!!!

Colour and the Shape! That's been my rock band pick since the game came out! Can't F***ING wait!

Blood Sugar Sex and Magik should be awesome too!

@JGab: i don't know about you but i love it when there is bleeping.

ever watched uncensored south park? not as funny.

but when they are censoring the swears, it just calls attention to them and makes it way more funny. i'd love to play this on my ds in the subway and have every second word be an attention grabbing 'you f*beeeep*ing wan*beeep*er!'

that would be awesome.

i dropped gtaiv like a hot potato once i got my hands on mgs4.

weirdly, i was way more excited for gtaiv but still haven't beat it. i'm sure i will once i finish mgs4, i guess i'm just still a little kid when it comes to new stuff!

@Benjamin Linus:
yellow has guitar, but it's barely a part.

the point is, coldplay should not be guitar hero/rock band fodder.

it's just not the type of music you want to emulate playing.

i can play a lot of coldplay on guitar, and even that isn't that fun...
