@orrin: Try restoring the PS3 to factory settings(don't format the hard drive). This happened to me a while back and that fixed everything.
That PixelJunk Monsters screenshot really bothers me. Doesn't this person realise that they have no chance to get the "No Crossing" trophy on this try!? Did they even read the requirements for the trophy!?
The online component of this game was the most touted. Nobody really cared if it had a single player experience and some people still are not aware that a single player mode exists. Any review that fails to mention the online component should be disregarded immediately. That also goes for any review that hasn't played the game online in real world situations when everyone is uploading and downloading to the servers. The beta was extremely buggy in my opinion. Every time I tried to undo something I was creating, my PS3 froze. It was ridiculous. I assumed this would only be a problem in the beta but I am seeing the same complaints in the final version of the game. I'll give Media Molecule about a month to iron out the online bugs then I'll decided if I want to buy this game or not.
So does this game have trophies? :D
@IceColdEskimo: LoL. I am a tad intrigued also. :(
@MCWHAMMER: I agree with you. I bought Racers after playing the demo and I really enjoyed it. I just wished that more people played it online so I could have some scores to compete with.
@StarTropicana: I thought Eden was boring also, but I am hooked on Monsters and Racers. I'm still trying to like Eden though. Everybody seems to love it so damn much.
@DeadlyWhispers: Obama has never told anyone to stop playing video games. Stop twisting his words. He was directing his comments to the parents who lack parenting skills. I wish you guys could actually listen to what he says, instead of getting spin elsewhere.
I bought Fifa 09 last Wednesday from Gamestop. The first one I went to was in Manhattan and they refused to sell it to me because I DIDN'T pre-order. I then hopped on the subway and stopped at the Gamestop on my way home which was an hour away from the first. The guy there sold it to me with no problem, but this was after I had to wait on some lady trading in like 40+ games and then not being satisfied with the money she was being offered. She also was asking a ton of questions about Saints Row 2.
@Theoutlet: Thank you. I wish that more Kotaku commenters used their brains before commenting.
@MSUHitman: Has it ever dawned on you that he is not placing ads in video games for kids? He knows that video games are not just for kids so he is tapping into an untapped market. You should be happy that he acknowledges that video games are not just for kids.

Now, how exactly is he being a hypocrite?

@StormShadowNF: Lies, lies and more propaganda from the right wing smear team. Let's keep these comments truthful please. Thank you.
@Swizzler121: Thanks for that reminder. LoL. Luke wrote a very nice article I must say.
@emm33: I have officially turned into a trophy whore. Any time I read an article like this the first word I look for is "Trophies" I'm disappointed that this game and "Fat Princess" won't be supporting Trophies. Why are developers overlooking this feature anyway?
@Cemperor: It seems that you're just saying that because you got stuck with a lemon 2 years in a row.
@symphony_of_the_night: You are being a troll. You and I both know that this year's version of Fifa is nothing like what you described. The only reason you played the game "a lot" is because you liked it.

The fact that you even brought up the PC version of Fifa shows how much of a troll you are. Fifa 09 on the PC and PS2 are totally different games from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

I am curious to know which version of the demo you played.

@MJ2k: No, it's 10 vs 10. @0 human players on the field at one time.
@thefais: It should be in the basketball game too, in my opinion.
@alfredofroylan: I am getting tired of you non-Fifa playing folks throwing your 2 cents in about the game and and the sport just because you own a tongue. This goes for commenters like you and the bloggers who write misinformed articles about the game.

Do like I do. When I come across an article on Kotaku about a game like Madden which I don't like and subsequently don't play, I keep my mouth shut.
