That will be the game mode of choice by many gamers, definitely.
I honestly don't understand how that is good news. That save system was great. Does it really matter though? It wasn't like in Resident Evil 4 where there wasn't enough save points between each section of each chapter.
This isn't bad news necessarily, but it's definitely not good news. That old save system rocked and don't you forget it!
Duke Nukem 3D
Spore
Diablo II
Lost Odyssey
And a bit of Mass Effect(maybe)
Good ridden, Mr. Thompson!
Hell yeah! haha
Hmm... extremely strange.
WOW... this is some exciting news! I've played the original for years after its initial release and when it comes out for the XBLA, I'll be playing for many more years, that's if the gameplay is how I remembered it.
And online mp? Double O..M..G!!! Cannot wait!
Thanks 3D Realms!
Also can't wait to see what other Indy Developers can come up with(Braid to name one, phenomenal game).
Metal Gear Solid 4 is so far the best game of the year and should have easily gotten the Game of the Year award. That is a major let down in my opinion.
Well... whatever, it is what it is.
@PapaBear434: I wouldn't go that far dude... Halo 3 is an amazing game, single player and multiplayer... but I don't think it deserved Game of the Year though... at least not compared to Metal Gear Solid 4.
hahahha
Maybe E3 will return to its glory days next year, but that is still very doubtful.
@vanderblade: Umm... no, I'm definitely not new to Kotaku or to E3 for that matter. I just felt like doing that dumb "first" thing, lol.
But if it pisses everyone off, and I know I don't want that to happen, I will refrain from doing such things in the future.
