@ElaborateEnduringEnvy: You got warned for saying "cry more"? Holy crap. Apparently Kotaku HQ is located some where in Egypt.
@VonGreckler: I think Fahey thinks the internet is serious business and I think you need to stop trying to be an internet cop and study to be a mall cop instead. Then you can go around being ignored by people as you try o tell them what to do but you'll be getting paid for it.
@Mike Fahey: There's more expected of me giving an uninformed opinion? Then apparently more is expected from me than the you. That's a bit ironic. Listen maybe you think it's cool to reply on here and try to save your pride since someone "dared" call you out on your opinion and disagree, without using profanity or slurs, but all it shows is that I must have said something true. If it wasn't then you wouldn't be trying to get all ambiguous and snippy. Get off your high horse. You're going to hurt yourself.
@jim_error404: Holy shit. Waaaaaay too long. Definitely didn't read and you are definitely trying to get an legit pair of used undies.
@Kiaza: Did you cry a little? Sounds like you cried a little.
@VonGreckler: I wasn't trying to burn him on his opinion, I was giving my take on it. My....wait for it....opinion! I refer the both of you to rules #12, #13 and #14 of the internet. Now stfu.
@Mike Fahey: No shit. It's an opinion. When I write on here that's all that's expected of me. Trying to burn me on opinion doesn't really work in this situation. Cookie for trying.
"Mean spirited"? Are you dating someone who was on the Call of Duty team? All this post shows is that Fahey is a COD fan that gets his opinions mixed up with reporting. I don't think the video is supposed to "convert" anyone and neither is the game. This sin't organized religion, it's just ads for videogames. Get a grip.
Doesn't every AC game promise more robust missions and more detailed levels? I mean how far are we into this console generation and these are still 2 things they haven't been able to deliver?
It also might have something to do with the fat that Bungie aren't these fantastic story tellers everyone makes them out to be. They simply crib long established sci fi tropes into their games. Name another "great" fully realized character in the Halo universe. Cortana? A virtual fan boy sex symbol that is a great combination of nerd and sex. A computer boys can fantasize about fucking. Sgt. Johnson? He's the black guy from Aliens lifted wholly and unabashedly. The Arbiter? I mean seriously. You dont even have to be that well read to know how one dimensional these characters are. There is great characterization in comics and sci fi/fantasy books that blow this shit away.

Bungie aren't great story tellers that leave out character details on purpose. They're game programmers not novelists with an understanding of telling a concise story with real personalities. If you like Halo that's great. if you like Bungie fine, but praise them for what they are. game makers not writers.
@L3gato: It's also the over all feel of the fighters and the pace of the match. FN4 felt very arcadey. I guess thats great for people who dont really like boxing but then why are you making it a boxing simulator? FN3 had it's faults I admit but the pacing felt more spot on and the fighters had a better sense of weight to them.
@L3gato: The pacing was unrealistic. You could throw 200 punches a match. And the analog controls felt so imprecise. It felt more like spamming then the buttons.
Recently this series lost the deliberate pacing that made it more than just a masher and kept the action more tactical and realistic IMO. Seems nothing has changed.
Right right right. Sony was "too busy" with one title to worry about any others. It's such a small company you know it can't handle more than one shooter on it's platform at a time. Afterall it wants to make sure that Killzone 3 gets the same attention MAG got and develops into the Halo killer it was born to be.....
@Player Uno: I'm not sure but I am all for Frankie Munoz being assassinated....if he hasn't already been.
Not hardcore enough. In fact when my character dies it should signal a hitman to track me down and murder me in the real world so that I REALLY value my decisions in the virtual world.
I have to start to believe that the Japanese are babies by and large in terms of gaming. FPS' make them dizzy, the 3DS now makes them dizzy. I mean WTF? Apparently unless they're virtually massaging some underage boobs, watching hot tentacle action or marveling at the effeminate hair and clothes of the latest JRPG hero they are battling nausea constantly.
@Zaranell: Please read ALL comments before responding with a press clip.
@Dragoonkin: @naikou: The amount of dreck you have to sift through to find anything worth playing is not worth the few games you find. You cannot blame people for not wanting to jump into a dumpster to find a dollar. XBLA has its bad games also but the difference is that there are less releases and since the are released once a week it's easier to find what you like from what you don't. The Indie channel just a landfill where games are dumped in at a dizzying rate. The peer system does nothing in helping the general public know what is worth their time or not and the amount of content is too large to sift through.
