@Klaymen: Nintendo doesn't throw money or time away to make demos. C'mon now, this is old news. Unlike their counterparts, Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo doesn't have money to just throw away into making separate demos for their games. They've been in this business the longest and have figured out that the returns don't always equal out to profits.

@SpishackCola: My mother used to clean my ears for me when I was too little to clean them myself. I don't remember her cleaning my fathers ears though. I'm Korean so maybe that's could be why.

Judging by how much POP I've been putting up in stores for Wii Fit, I think it's safe to say that Nintendo seems to be focusing on the US more so than other countries.

$90 bucks is not that bad considering how many Guitar Heros have sold since it's conception. I see Wii Fit doing extremely well. This isn't about losing weight--the average Joe knows this. It's about losing weight while playing a video game. Just sit and think about that for awhile. Who would say no? Besides, the mini games are actually quite fun and serve as a nice break from the realistic boring exercise which this also teaches you how to do.

People play Guitar Hero because it's fun, not because they want to learn how to play guitar. And people will play Wii Fit with this same mindset whether you haters want to dismiss or not *cough*Kyle81*cough*

Kind of pointless to comment after 1000+ posts but I agree with the majority of posters here that racism is only kept alive by those who see it. I highly doubt Japanese developers (who's ancestors, mind you, at one point in American history were also singled out by race) would set the tone of this game by manipulating images of African Americans. N'gai is entitled to his own opinions but I do believe that this time he's bitten more than he can stomach.

I feel that this poll was taken from a pool of people that don't exactly encompass the primary target of portable device owners in Japan. I could be wrong but if that poll were taken starting from 10 years and up, the numbers could be different. But then again Monster Hunter is huge enough to grasp so many young men that I can see this being pretty accurate.

This can only be good for the industry and maybe even push Nintendo over the edge in providing better online and 3rd party support. Up until now in this console generation, it seems that Nintendo has never really felt threatened by Sony or Microsoft. If Microsoft succeeds in convincing Nintendo's "blue ocean" to bite, Nintendo will have to come back with something.

Now to wait until the winter for this to come to fruition...or not.

@Enkur: Wow...I guess you forgot about StarFox, Kirby, Pikmin, a next-gen Zelda (yes, did we forget that Twilight Princess is actually a GameCube game?), the rumored Kid Icarus remake, Golden Sun, the list goes on...anyone who's been a gamer with Nintendo since day one would know that they haven't even tapped into a fraction of their franchises.

You also contradict yourself when it comes to Mario Kart on the Wii. You loathe the fact that you use your GCN controller for the majority of your Wii games yet you spit at Nintendo for gimping it in Mario Kart. Despite what McWhertor says, the meat of this game has ZERO mini games and ZERO card battles. For the most part, it's a turn based battle dungeon crawler...with Chocobo as the main character.

I've been wanting this game for half a year a now or something. Already have the soundtrack which is superb for those wouldn't mind their favorite final fantasy tracks remixed.
