    here is the answer to your multi format torrent problem. i was once like you, downloading and playing codec scavenger hunt.

    the program that i use is called convertx DVD. (i am at work so I'll have to give you the link later)

    super simple to use. just stick in a blank dvd, open the program, click on the add button, add the program and hit ok.

    in about 2 hours you will have whatever format it once was converted and burned onto a dvd that you pop into your dvd player (the cheaper the dvd player the better)
