Just as long as I don't have to pinch the front and back of the screen together. I swear that's the single most annoying Vita feature use. In general, stuff that uses the back is kind of annoying me.
Oh wow, I'm glad you asked and got an answer! Thanks so much for sharing.
I want to see an Alpha Centauri sequel. Pity it's probably owned by different people :(
How? You have to fetch the stylus to switch to it. Making it less versatile due to delay. With capacitative you can quickly switch to touch the screen and go back to controls.
More precise, yes, but less versatile. I'd say the direction the vita is going (capacitative with extra controls) is the best route, in my eyes. Capacitative screen can be easily touched when needed, and games can focus on mixing it with the button controls.

I still say the Zelda DS games would have been way better with normal controls.

Touch screens weren't all that great at the time. The touch screen the DS uses is small, and requires a stylus. It really was the phone market that proved how potent touch can be.
What if my virtual girlfriend only wants me gone? :(
Hopefully Army Corps of Hell is this week. Anyone know if that's an oversight here or if it's coming later? That's the one Vita launch title I care about.

Also, those who get the Vita First Edition can play Vita games this week, contrary to the text here.

It's sort of similar to the distinction between Cherub and Cherubim, if I have my understanding correct. (where one is the misunderstood popular definition and the other is used to refer to the four winged angel who will kill you with fiery swords)
Basically, Archaotic pretty much nailed it. They're a pretty wide and admittedly often vague aspect of European folklore. Some of them will help people. Some of them will kidnap or kill people.

In Amalur, they have a pretty interesting role. Each fae era is known as a "Telling", wherein each Fae who dies (they're not completely immortal, they just don't permanently die), must complete their song - which is the story that the stones are telling you - the songs of various fae. The lives they must live each Telling.

The storyline in the House of Ballads is absolutely interesting, and I'd defintely recommend it, especially since it begins right at the start of the game.

Excuse the crappy "photo of a TV" screenshot, but I had to share the most egregious glitch I have ever experienced. Yes, that's not a camera issue in the lower right, that's a giant white patch in the game display.

The bug never appeared again after I loaded the quicksave immediately prior, but it made me laugh and I wanted to share it.

PS3 Kingdoms of Amalur, by the way.

I disagree on the blandness, mostly because it has a focus on fae. Who are under-represented in modern games to an almost depressing level. I've absolutely loved all the story bits that focus around them.
I can't help but think of LittleKuriboh's Seto Kaiba

Screw the rules, I have a sink.

And here I thought this would be about a quantity of Mass Effect spinoffs and a spinoff movie.
Isn't it like Dragon Age 2, with everyone being bi? I thought I read that somewhere...
iThing owners without a DS, panic dance until you've obtained this.
They certainly did a great job on the handiwork.
Quite a handy figure, that.
As someone who prefers thicker devices, I look forward to getting my Vita next week.
Seems the article's been pulled

I'm betting it's by the ModNation Racers people and is a spiritual sequel.
