HOLD IT! Don't mean to cause a flame war, since I thought it was pretty bad that it happened too, but you're exaggerating the Live downtime. It was down for a week, and "down" is a sketchy word to use. PSN is currently down. There is absolutely no way to access it. Xbox Live was still active, it was just extremely slow and suffered connectivity issues. I was still able to access a few games on Halo 3 at the time. You're correct on the game though, but hey, at least it was something, right?
He said they wanted it like an iTunes service, which is what Rock Band is. And not necessarily. Lego Rock Band, Green Day: Rock Band, and Rock Band 3 never came with new sets of guitar, drums, mics. The only thing RB3 came with was a keyboard.
